if you like Rammstein, you should give stahlmann and megaherz a listen... also Oomph!

Till Lindemann from Rammstein's solo project is phenomenal (highly recommend it) . he just goes by Lindemann. bloody hilarious stuff.

I’m a bit of a metal head. Listened to nothing but this stuff growing up.

There’s something about it that gets me fired up like nothing else. I’ve seen a lot of bands live —Metallica, DevilDriver, Guns N’Roses, System Of A Down, Whitesnake, KoRn (17 times) Dimmu Borgir, Muse, Opeth, Lamb of God, Marilyn Manson & Slipknot to name just a fraction of people I have seen live... oh, and Slayer three times. One of which I nearly died after going into a pit smashed off my tits and coming out with a black eye and a broken rib after getting elbowed in the face by a guy in a dress.

More recent discoveries include In This Moment (Half God, Half Devil could easily be my theme song) and I’m basically loving anything Parkway Drive have to throw into the atmosphere.

Music is something very dear to me, and my taste is quite electic, Rock and some metal I sure can appreciate.
The classics, many of who are already mentioned, though I would like to add some scandinavian bands such as
Green Carnation , Leprous (my favorites), and our latest rock sweethearts  called Underwing. Others I enjoy listening to are Katatonia, and the unforgetable Third and the Mortal with the incredible talented Kari Rueslåten
For sexy guys I would recomend Månegarm (Swedish band)

Can anyone compete with Zeplin? And Queen one of my all time favorites! Grew up on the Classics. Lately I enjoy things with a little angst! System of a Down, Drowning Pool, Rob Zombie, etc.

I grew up with
Blue Oyster Cult
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTzb-sduiWc

and this group pretty much as I was listening to mostly R&B and classical during the 1970's
it's only until i got older and younger friends and extended family introduced me to other types
of music venues.
While serving in the USAF, i listened to mainly Country because most of my friends and coworkers
listened to country.
Today, my tastes have grown in leaps and bounds and have become very eclectic.
I mean i even own 2 CDs of Tibetan monk music  ; )

and don't get me started on the Japanese group, Kodo.  Love the sound of " Psychopomp "

though nothing beats the drum solo of Iron Butterfly's, IN- A-GADDA-DA-VIDA

I had an 8 track in the first car i ever owned
a Plymouth Fury 2 - 3 speed on the column.

When I rec'd orders to serve at Kadena Air Base
i traded my car for a JVC dual cassette deck (with metal capabilities)

There was an old Ford Pick-up truck on the ranch
i worked on in Northern California
and that's where i got to learn how to drive a stick shift.  (Plenty of room on a ranch -- nothing to run into    )

Sheesh...

I watched a report on black and white TV ,
1967 , about the Greatful Dead on the streets
of San Francisco when I lived near Atlantic City
and saw them for free playing in Golden Gate
Park in San Francisco with Jefferson Airplane
when I got back to Bay Area...

The San Francisco scene was the hotbed
for early rock...then LA and London

I remember some of the first houses
some of them lived in , grooved in ,
and got stoned in...

And I was *there* in the thick of it ...saw so many free concerts !

Stopped going when concerts cost more than 17.50 for three bands...😉
