the trick to life is to realise and learn that this is a truism and you can act accordingly. All we can do is aim to take responsibility to constantly aim towards creating the best version of yourself and seeking the best practices of love, like caring compromise, sacrifice, compassion, controlled lust, etc,. The only reason that no one is entitled to unconditional love is because humans are incapable of such.
