i know for a FACT that Grilled Grubs taste like Bacon!! I'll bring enough for e1
& peanutbutter is not my cup of tea probably because i grew up so poor my Mom gave me 4 peanutbutter and mayo sandwiches for my lunch from 1st grade to soph in high school.
So now even the smell of peanutbutter makes me ill.

I just made a lemon cake with blueberry cream cheese icing if that’s more your style!
Lemon cake filled with blueberry jam and lemon curd, topped with blueberry cream cheese icing, lemon meringue cookies, and lemon and white chocolate truffles. My oldest got a little heavy handed when putting the decorations on, but he had fun so that’s all that matters!

lemon curd is my favorite thing ever. i eat it on toast. put it in cakes. biscuits. crackers. bagels. EVERYTHING. it's just so stinking good.
back to poems for a bit, i think my theme this year is going to be based around cooking and food. the goal is to have a recipe and poem for each day. i'm not holding myself to the recipe part, strictly speaking. BUT i'm going to try.

I can only imagine the metaphors associated with baking! Just don't leave the cake out in the rain or it will never be the same again!
Seriously, great idea! Themes or epics is the only way to go for me personally. Your last year's family posts were so heartfelt. I will always say you need to create a manuscript.
