Because of DUP's NaPoWriMo in April, Johnny and I need time to prepare both the portraits for April, as well as the NaPo Team & competition itself.

We are conducting this poll for feedback as to which poets you would like to learn about and write tributes for in our ongoing Classic Corner competition series. We hold two competitions per month and would prefer they are dedicated to a male and female poet.   The above list reflects last month's poll answers.

You may skip voting and instead recommend in a post one-three poets not listed in the poll.

Each competition, given enough entries, will encourage the Webmiss to create a theme for a poet.

Here is a list of poets we have already held challenges about and earned themes for, so keep in mind there is no point in recommending them:

Looks like Gibran and Addonizio are our Classics for April!  T-minus one week left to vote, and thank you to those who already have!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the poll. As predicted Addonizio and Gibran will be our next Classic Features.

We are excited to announce that eswaller and Snugglebuck have agreed to be guest hosts for the Classic Corner in April so that Johnny and I can focus solely on NaPo!  A special thank you to both Elena and Snuggle for their willingness to co-host.  Johnny and I will be selecting the winner to afford Elena and Snuggle, who have always supported the Classic Comps, an opportunity to enter them.

A huge Thank You to all who continue to support these comps, thus expanding DUP Hashtags, as well as our general knowledge regarding both Classic and Modern poets.

Stay tuned for the next poll to determine May's winners!
