Have you ever tried to learn sign language?

As part of a primary schools program they taught us a little bit, but as to learning it as a language no

Should sign language be part of school curriculum so we can communicate with deaf people without the usual awkwardness?

That might be ok, but teaching anything in school means you aren't going to learn much.
In Nicaragua, the deaf kids actually spontaneously created a sign language that traveled like a California brush fire, sweeping from school to school, gaining the attention of the outside .just search you tube: Nicaraguan sign language.

My phone is an old model, samsung. I only need to be available for calls.
And use it to call. No apps and the such here. Im not interested in it. And I did try some but they slow down the system and besides, apps are not that private. Anyone can locate you.
Are you good in receiving critique? I mean in fe a personal evaluation.

Sometimes, other times it still pricks the ego some, but there is no growth without critique, so you take your emotional resilience suck it up and bare your emotions for the possibility of progressing as a writer.

Do you think critique is integral for a writer?

I think it is essential if you intend to take the writing to a further stage.
A further stage than sites or platforms on line

It’s a wierd one - I guess I’ve had a procedure that would be considered cosmetic surgery. But that was to fix something long standing. So In that instance, I don’t really have an issue with it. I’m not really super convinced about the bigger boobs, bigger butt, sculpt my thighs thing.

7 surgeries
Had to have a disk in my back shaved from blunt force trauma,
Had to have pins put in my wrist from dad snapping it like a twig
Hernia operation
Fixed rupture in my bad place thanks to dad again
Had to get a part of a tooth removed from my right fist
Nearly lost my hand due to sepsis
Had to get a long slither of glass removed from my arm
fighting with my brother we went through the front window of the house
Knee scrape and clean from playing rugby had massive cartilage damage, and ruptured a.c.l
Full knee reconstruction because of a badly performed arm-bar in a jui-jitsu tournament, won the fight, fucked my knee because I didn't get the reconstruction first time around

I have a calling name and oficial names which are on my passport. I like all of them . Here a name change cant be done that often. So you have to inform yourself about the rules, you might be stuck with it for a lifetime. Would you accept a dream job if its abroad?
