This was the 8th NaPo/GloProWriMo challenge Avahati completed and technically my 6th. It was the 2nd we've personally hosted and we are already looking forward to 2019! We hope to hear more about your personal experiences this year to help promote next year's challenge.

I keel’ed over,
Knock’d out, shock’d,
Once it hit me—
Another year
Another “dollar”,
My system, spent;
Worthy investment
In dedication.
Another NaPo’s
Come and gone,
Though unlike any
Road this poet’s done.
I crash’d and burn’d,
On my feet & then
To bed all day,
Perchance to sleep.
No phone no dreams
Short-circuited.
Middle o’ the night,
I shuffle over
Blurry-eyed
In my slippers
To thank
The powers-that-be,
In my dressing gown,
The unique
Opportunity
Unlike no other
I’d completed in
The NaPo before:

The Official DUP Napo/GloPoWriMo 2018 has ended and with18 participants crawling over the finish line for a grand total of 540 new poems! You can read ALL of them here!

What a sense of accomplishment for each poet to have a catalog of 30 poems blooming in their gardens! Now comes the pruning and weeding!

The #1 Universal feedback we received after NaPo 2017 from participants was that they didn’t know they had it in them! Of course, they did! And Team 2018 did too - several pariticpants that fell behind absolutely refused to call it quits, rallied and came back strong to finish with everyone else on schedule!
