I may have an issue on April 8--I'll be at one of the antiques vendor shows in CT, where I set up a table twice per year. It runs all day and depending on schedules, I may have to head further south to meet up with my daughter after the show, which would put me getting home very late after the drive.  This means very likely, no computer time that day, so is it acceptable if on April 7, I post two poems, dated one for the 7th & one for the 8th, in the event I can't get online that Sunday?

That's totally acceptable. Things are going to happen, such as family emergencies, internet outages, etc. We understand that.  

The spirit of NaPo is to write, write, and write, producing a body of work you wouldn't normally have. It teaches you, through discipline and commitment, that you have the ability to make writing a priority despite what's going on around you.

That's what we focus on, the spirit of the competition, not the world that sometimes gets in the way. Writing two poems in one day to make up for another missed is walking straight through whatever obstacle arises.

That's the Spirit ( and letting us know! ).

And don't be afraid to, after April 1st begins, to finish new poems ahead of schedule and post one on a day in which you anticipate life getting in the way. This year's challenge is more flexible than last.

Going to try this.  Tried nanowrimo last year and started off good, but I dunno.  I feel it's easier for me to write poetry than a novel :p
