Opening band , first time playing major concert

*Golden Earring* , opening with *Radar Love* , after them ,

*Journey* , on the tour during the album with Kohoutek ,

followed by *Robin Trower* on *Bridge Of Sighs* tour !

Whole f*ckin' audience was on their feet from opening song !

However I saw The Who in 72 , Yes , Lou Reed On Rock And Roll Animal Tour ,
The Band and so many more...every weekend , it was Winterland in San Francisco...;)

Oh , yeah , Rolling Stones , Grateful Dead every New Year's Eve , Tubes ,
Hot Tuna...a lot free at Golden Gate Park !

Damn , that must have been amazing .

I'd have to choose the Bring Me The Horizon show I went to in 2009 when they were touring for their 2nd album .

Got to hear all my favorite songs from their first albums that they don't play anymore and they played really well that night , which was a bonus .

None , recently...but no Matter where these guys play , I am there this year...

Anything lyrical in some way does the best of job of it for me . As long as its coming from an honest place . Any genre from black metal to country and everything in between .

not a huge fan...but wouldn't mind any decent comic. Russel Brand ain't that bad.

Where were you when 9/11 happened?

across the Atlantic  but plunged in Darkness as two provinces had power outage at the same time. Remember trying to contact my Dad who was across the Hudson, ran to the nearest Internet Cafe to get a grip of what's actually happened as no power meant no TVs. That internet cafe had a generator... read the news on Yahoo! and ran back home huffing puffing... as my uncle in Chicago had given some absolutely bizzare  info. Will never forget the day.... it was night time where i was...


where were you and what were you doing?  who/how you came to know the first news?

I was REALLY sick with tonsillitis and was at home on the sofa.  I missed my college intro day. I came to know about it because suddenly it was on every channel on the TV all at once. Scary.

Have you ever experienced a natural disaster?

no...not so far. The closest thing was an Earthquake a few hundred kilometers away from home and flash flooding in southern part of my suburb.

Have you? did you ever participate in a relief effort, even if it was for a disaster overseas?

No, not participate but was covering the aftermath of an earthquake once. Not fun when there were aftershocks. We ran out of the media office many times.

Would you risk your life to save another during a natural disaster?

no comments. as time will only tell.

What does beauty means to you? How do you interpret it?

Yes

( Funny story / funny weird , not funny ha ha , but he would have loved
the strange humor of it...my friend , who has the same name as me in
real life and I were talking in the coffee place he worked at in Santa Cruz ,
in 1989...this was a pour by custom choice through filter cone place , so
everyone would have conversations with each other while waiting , and
it was a place all the strange people , like me and others would start our
morning at , then sit on benches on a downtown old school street , hidden
from view of the local law , smoking pot and relating ;

So , as we were talking , that day , about Life , Death , The Universe and Everything ,
others put their two cents / sense in , as well ; he finished pouring my coffee , I then
thanked him , gave him the old high five , and said "see yah" , with his name following ,
as did he back at me , always a joke , because of the similar names , and we felt a deep
soul connection ;

I walked out , had to go to work that day , and , as my girlfriend was driving me to work ,
the Santa Cruz / Loma Prieta earthquake happened ; the coffee house and many other
buildings downtown were demolished , with him being killed immediately ;

Just so strange , two of us , similar souls , same name , in same building , same time ,
talking about death , rebirth , and would it matter if we died that day , then ten minutes
later...he is gone , to the otherside ;

I felt , and to this day do feel , whatever powers that be , had a very strange sense of humor ;

So , since then , whenever I have been in an earthquake , I have yelled out , "Rock And Roll , Mama" !
ready to see him again , on the otherside , if it was to be my turn ! LOL ! )
