Figured I'd create this thread for recommendations of books,poems,blogs,ect...My first recommendation is a book of poems by Bruce Weigl titled-The Song Of Napalm...It's about the Vietnam war through the eyes of a poet.

Good idea mate, check out my favorite poet's free verse novel - "The Simple Gift" by the Australian poet Steven Harrick. Good read.

Any Bret Easton Ellis fans?

Less Than Zero is a good read.
So are Rules of Attraction and American Psycho.

I really enjoy reading The Stranger by Albert Camus it's a shame the book is so small must have read it over again a thousand times, I'm going to read it again in French soon as I get my language classes going

For poetry it should be Aeschylus, Lament  For the Two Brothers Slain by Each Other's Hands.
