Yep Daniel X is one of the best I've found

Have to agree that Dan never gets his due share of reads since he is a bit idiosyncratic and writes so much of it.

I love Dan. I read him always. He's got a lot of good work. And his pictures are one of a kind.

I have read a lot of excellent poetry on this site, in between posting my own works, naturally. Some of my favorites include:
Grace - She and I are kindred spirits in a lot of ways, and her poems express her old soul, which I feel a deep bond with. Like me, she writes with such profound depth, honesty, and passion! She is truly a poetess to be admired.
AlexnEmoLand - Her poems are darkly beautiful, gritty in their realism, and express a lot of interesting themes from Japanese culture that I find endlessly fascinating. She is brilliant, and I often wish she would write more, since I cannot get enough of reading her magnificent works.
AlwaysCaliban - Ah, Caliban! One of my newest favorties on here. She has such a brilliant way with words, and the darkness in her poems is expressed with a rare, surreal kind of beauty that makes her poetry stand out in my mind. Her poetry is so unique, that it could accompany H.R. Giger artwork and not feel out of place doing so. In short, I love it!
bloody_ashe - Ashe has not published a lot of poems, but all of the ones she has published I have found to be excellent. She has a way with words and with expressing herself through them that really sings to me, and I hope she writes lots more... because I am certainly a fan of her works.
BlueBeastGirl - Her poems are always heartfelt expressions of herself, of life, and of human nature in many ways as well. The good and the bad, the darkness and the light. And so much more! She writes with so much passion and feeling in her words, and that is what makes them special to me!
Whitewand6 (Sumeet) - His poems have a surreal and spiritual kind of depth to them that I enjoy reading quite a bit. His Inanna poems are simply splendid goddess tributes, and there is a sensuality to his writing style that is quite different.
And those are just six of the many poets that I have come to enjoy here on the site, and some of the reasons why I enjoy their poetry.

Success shouldn't define the quality of a poet.
