I've found myself writing down words I didn't know as well as words that I thought I knew, but only through context clues. I invite you to post your list of words that you-- upon reading fiction or non-fiction-- have written down to find out the meanings later.
I was going to create a little mini-dictionary tool full of unique words for myself, but, I'd rather share-- and plus, that takes some work off of me!
If you want to submit words with definitions, I would appreiciate it if it was done by going to Dictionary.com and copy/pasting the first results of the definitions. Here's an example:
deference
noun
1. respectful submission or yielding to the judgment, opinion, will, etc., of another.
2. respectful or courteous regard: in deference to his wishes.
and NOT
deference - respectfully submitting
This way we keep things a little more neat and official.
Here's MY list-- It's just a FEW words I picked up. I highly recommend you post them like this, too! Maybe someone will start defining them all for us. . .

Dude, what kind of stuff have you been reading?? Most of that stuff looks like Middle English and misspellings found in people's usernames. Interesting list though. I love a wide vocabulary. I look up a lot of words when I'm not sure if there's a different tense or form of it. For example, yesterday I wasn't sure if there was a noun form of "superfluous," so I looked it up and confirmed that it was indeed "superfluity." (Not to be confused with "superfluidity"--the state of matter observed in hydrogen at near-absolute zero temperatures.)

Okay so I went through the list and this is my conclusion. There appeared quite a few misspelled words, where letters were in the wrong order or someone has stuck an extra letter in there, with some you could put an "er/ar" at the end instead of an "a" and you have a properly spelled word, like regula could = regular . There are also names of people, places and things... Uluru happens to be a place in the Australian outback (bush/country). Others are non-English words. And some of the words on your list I'm not even sure are words actual words.

Actually
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/regula?s=t
regula
noun, plural regulae
(in a Doric entablature) a fillet, continuing a triglyph beneath the taenia, from which guttae are suspended.
See? Not random garbage. If something doesn't look like a real word, throw it in the dictionary and paste the definition here--if it's not there, then say so specifically. It's kind of a big list, yeah, but so what? I dare you to make a bigger one!

OK Quandry. Is your username like a cross between quandary and laundry? Now lets put you to the test... write a poem that uses all of these words. Any order, and form. You have three minutes! GO! ;-)

seemed like an interesting word, decided to look it up on dictionary.com, and couldn't find anything.
urbandictionary'd it and found 'one who walks without shoes; one who goes barefoot'
then i just put it into google and it says
'Definition for nelipot:
Web definitions:
one going barefoot (note: this 'word' is suspect).
wordcraft.infopop.cc/dictionary/part8.htm'
do you write down where you found these words in addition to the words themselves?

nelipot
seemed like an interesting word, decided to look it up on dictionary.com, and couldn't find anything.
urbandictionary'd it and found 'one who walks without shoes; one who goes barefoot'
then i just put it into google and it says
'Definition for nelipot:
Web definitions:
one going barefoot (note: this 'word' is suspect).
wordcraft.infopop.cc/dictionary/part8.htm'
do you write down where you found these words in addition to the words themselves?[/quote]
No, but how extraordinary! I would love to record their sources as well, if dictionary.com doesn't hold it. Informal words count as well. It's funny, though; I'm almost sure I saw that word on Dictionary.com before, but I just checked-- it's not there, you're right. Do tell if you find anymore like this!

Nor was I being a dick. I was funning too. Nice list. I may steal a few of these words soon for a poem. (don't worry, not all, I won't plagiarize your 3 minute poem, man).
