What books one reads may reflect certain aspects of their personality (e.g. artistic taste) but that hypothesis would have to be backed up by a large data set (of books, that is) to clearly reflect a bias from which concrete conclusions can be drawn.I think one's last 3 books are a better indicator of mood than of personality or character. In that vein, you might make deductions from my last few books:
The Lion's Game-Nelson demille
Partly Cloudy-Bryan Forbes
Statistical Experimental Design- 2nd year Unisa module
Wild Swans,3 daughters of China-Jung Chang(2/3 of the way through)...

My last three books were The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and both novels in the Santiago series by Mike Resnick.

Wow, sounds pretty much like me-- i dont watch tv. All i do is read. Some people (in jamaica) think that its highly strange that i just prefer to read than watch tv. But as you said "escapism"... some people listen to music some watch tv and some read books [nerd]

btw, what'd you think abt Brave New World?
