a single rose
smoke rising up from a pipe
you looking through
reflections of my adoration
in your eyes
sitting on smooth satin
faint scents of cinnamon
brushing the air
your pen scribbles
ardour and passion
peeling layers of armour
true words shared
caresses the senses
like gentle butterfly kisses
peace of rainbows
clinging to haloes
of a gentle sun incepted by love
the world was kinder
colours were brighter
but the sun set too soon
and winter shadowed your noon
fantasia evaporated
