still cocooned
within hungry dreams

desperation fills each breath

deep heated friction
smoldering kindling—
synonyms, for how we touch
Feeling, you
everywhere
familiar and powerful
teasing with tenderness
intense, in knowledge
O' to be of surety
My back arches
unintentionally
as I exist where sleep morphs
into dire existential urge
glistening, volcanic
a truth of pure accelerant
Scorched and glowing embers
char such perfect edges
imagination infuses reality
lingering on a cusp
teetering
begging for transformation
I reach for you,
awake now...
finding us both
where fingers meet
salvation
and where dreams
find a way
of coming
true.
