Stalked, because of your poetry.
Seriously, have you ever been stalked or seriously threatened because of your poetry?
Because my works are often politically satirical I've received threats of death and lawsuits. And yes, even as hard as it for me to believe, I did have a woman stalk me. Later I'll share some of these experiences on this thread. Note; most of what I've experienced is not the result of my participation in DU which I consider a very safe place. I
But please share your experiences and how you've dealt them.

Nobody has *ever* dared fucking with me for my poetry ,
in real life...I believe they know I would rip them a new
asshole , or two , along with some major piercings with
keys or my antler pieces if they attempted to do so...
That has included L.A. gangs at the Venice boardwalk...
I refuse to put up with crap like that...I even took on
Homeland Security , when they tried to give me shit
for leaving my teaching / poetry bag on a table , and
talking to someone in the Eugene Library , in 2002 ,
I believe it was...and they walked away with their tails
between their legs , after the room stood up for me
and about thirty people gave them shit...
I am extremely outspoken , and do *not* put up with
people's verbal judgements , or threats...
I let them know their place very well , and it is not in my face...;)

Yes i have been threatened on another site I was threatened with rape And i must state for those who are thinking it there was no erotica involved This site was mainly people under 18 from various countries I would edit their work for them an example would be a darling boy from South Africa worked on his families farm uneducated couldn't go to school he had to work his poetry was amazing and i wanted to keep as much of him as i could in his writing He got exceedingly better with his grammar over the course of the year Another kid was jealous or something and started throwing racist remarks around on chat I spoke up that is when the threats began they lasted about one day I openly confronted him on chat for the entire community to see He backed down after getting extremely vulgar with the rape threat The outcome was he openly apologized to me and the community for his behavior he felt remorse and became my friend

DUP has earned my respect for being a safe place for me. It's obvious the team works really hard for us. I feel really badly then if i give anybody a negative experience or impression for even a second... especially the team leaders.
The users are all potential wild cards.
The second there is a real complaint placed it's dealt with.
Only one person ever made me overly uncomfortable. Im not sharing any details, because the leadership makes me feel like they would never let it get out of control.

I have never been stalked because of my poetry, but I have received some really creepy unwanted attention in my inbox in direct response to my erotica spills. Most of them go away when ignored or when I tell them to shove off, but there were a few that have been persistent.
