Coming up throughout the month of April will be the Official DeepUnderground NaPo/GloProWriMo challenge hosted by Ahavati and me.

For previous challenges, check out threads
2017 > https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/9560/
2018 > https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/forum/competitions/read/10143/

Though the accustomed challenge only requires one poem daily for 30 days straight - during 2017 I wrote 150 poems and Ahavati wrote the equivalent of 120. Each were a minimum of "50 unique words" in length. No simple blurts or haikus allowed.

Participate and you'll get plenty of exercise guaranteed as you write your ass off and post at least one poem per day. Stay tuned and we'll supply you with tips on how to stay productive daily without faling behind.

Hi! ^-^

Not sure if this will be helpful, but when I feel like I really want to study writing, I read books and essays on poetry critique. (and of course, writing a lot also helps xD)

would recommend:
The Sacred Wood
Essays on Poetry and Criticism By T.S. Eliot

📝❤ Right around the corner!

He also may need to sharpen his practice before accepting this grueling challenge!

Thanks for the suggestions, all.

Will do more with the DUP links ...

I think I should add to the poetry reading text books to complement the ones already given above ...
