                 SILENCED

My glottis strived to
Prove it's stand.
But was weighed down
By his indifference.
Even my lips hops to cope,
But his eyes wouldn't them.

He doesn't seem to give an attention:
Even my courage,he'd silenced.

Maybe i'll pick my way.

It was raining yesterday
and it felt like spring days when I was young
that night before the dance recital
the power went out
and we ate Chinese food by candle light
my mother and I
the thunder continued;

I like storms
the quietness in their loudness
and clocks blinking;
I like sitting in the dark with you
when you silence me with your silence
fall asleep while I'm restless
your head on my chest heart thumping to the blackness;

it was raining yesterday
and it felt like maybe being quiet wasn't so bad
the slight need to be silenced less like a knife and more like a finger to your lips
so I don't forget
to slow down
so I don't forget
you are real
so I don't forget
how much different this all  feels
to me

Damnation or Paradise

I imagine
you're always busy
but I wont take up too much of your time
I'll even put my hands together
and kneel by the bed if it helps

But please
could you do me one small favor and answer a question
that's been bothering me for more than a while
I'd just like to know
if there's life after death?

I mean why keep it a secret
if there really is something else
Or is there a strange satisfaction
in making people wait their whole lives
to find out what comes next

I'm not asking about Heaven or Hell
a yes or a no will do just fine
and I totally promise to keep the answer to myself
Who would believe me anyway--
it's not as if I'm asking you to rewrite the Bible
not that you wrote the book yourself--
although you probably dictated
more than a line or two here and there

Or is it the truth that you've never been real
only existing in all those people's minds
and the best I can ever hope for
is a mouth silenced by dust
away in some quiet green field
far removed from the madness of life

Ignored

The scoff was covered
with eye rolls
followed by a looking away;
dismissing the thought
as the bell tolls.

The Commotion of Silence

He has always loved her in silence,
So close and yet so far,
But the words will never come out,
They dig themselves deep into his heart.
He has always sincerely cared for her,
In a stillness that brings no peace,
But the emotion too burns him,
He suffers from it to say the least.
He lingers in the sorrow of serenity,
When she looks right into his eyes,
Between the torment and the rapture,
The commotion of silence in disguise.

Silent Jenny and Mr. Jimin Maize (30 lines version)

"Meet the Mr. Jimin Maize!
Man of claims that sure amaze! ^^
Loves to dance, come to his gym!
And so Jenny the Lamb goes to him! ^^

But by the Black Eyed look at her dress!
Forgot golden brooch? What a mess!
Such impolite thing to commit!
Just a mistake? rather spit!
What a sleaze! What a freak!
She shall be not allowed to speak!" (Mr.Jimin Maize)

"Well there is something I have to say,
On behalf of all things grey,
On behalf of every young author,
On behalf of your bile, and my water! ^^
Also Jenny Lamb, my miss!
All the things you claim you want to endorse,
On behalf of the person reading this,
And YOU of Course! ^^
Ahem....
- Ahem...." (Me)

"Such a brave thing to commit!
Congrats on being a hypocrite! ^^
I never though you'd get such far! ^^
Just honestly, I wouldn't mind all that much,
If you didn't explain yourself kindly and warmly.
But silencing folks is worse than just being corny....
So please my Mr. Jimin Maize,
Do not let me wonder in haze! ^^
Tell me what's wrong with my Madame!
Save the Mrs. Jenny Lamb!" (Mr.Rain) ^^

Note: It's a poem I wrote about my experience of being silenced on this page by a.... (cough, cough) unnamed person (cough, unconvincing cough) moderating a (cough) unnamed group (cough, another unconvincing cough). ^^
Note2: I know there are people who like Mr.Maize, Well I know as I was one of them, but mind you "a person that is nice to you but not nice to the waiter.... is not a nice person".... it's cool to be the Waiter for once! ^^
