Three Haiku's on Loneliness
Hello everyone. I was thinking about all the news stories that suggest we are the most lonesome generation. Apparently, elderly people are less isolated than people in their twenties.
Can you express loneliness in three strikes of the Katana?
Write up to three (5,7,5) Haiku's expressing, imagining and examining etc etc, the feeling of loneliness.

Loneliness
To wake every day is a lonely task,
Just a normal conversation is to much to ask,
I sit in my chair and the windows my view,
My wife passed away theres no more me and you,
My meals are equally frozen there bagged for one meal,
Has i silently eat hoping this pain isnt real,
The days are getting harder my legs dont want to move,
My health deteriorates fast not much a day improves,
My vision now is much shorter tunnel vision is what i see,
Losing you has changed my life its slowly killing me,
So all i have is family and a house no longer a home,
My angel in heaven please wait for me im coming so we aren't alone,
No more growing for me im dying of a broken heart,
I spread my wings to fly to you it killed me being apart....

in deep end of the ocean
floating solitude
rhythmic shallow breaths
fold in useless bones and flesh

I lie here alone
under a cloudless night sky
with fallen black plums
the moon's mask of light
casts no shadow where I sleep
in solo orbit
never so alone
than a warm night of crickets
that sing not for me

Cracks in the sidewalk
Lead down a less travelled path
Past unmarked gravestones
