A Slave to the Construct

For every hour and day I let go to waste,
I sacrifice time and all that is precious,
Only to find myself a slave to the construct,
Trying to catch up, feeling regretful,
For not having appreciated it’s true worth.

helping friends through dark nights,
I remain in vein while harnessing the pain
knowing tomorrow will always bring light
there is no more time for conflict or fight we must stand up for human rights
