American Dreams
Obama tapped his ass!
complains the silver spooned
brat who never grew up
currently occupying the White House
whose reoccurring nightmare
is about Mexicans voluntarily
paying for and working around
the clock
tick tock!
in a race against time
to trench an alligator moat
around his Mara-a-Lago existence
In millions of darkly smart phone lit
bedrooms dotting the United States
restless young girls shed their
Hello Kitty pajama bottoms and training bras
before slipping slip off to No Man's Land
where they fly about naked without shame
through unrestricted air space under
twinkle stars burning fairy bright
in the sky above them at night
beyond a cracked ceiling of shattered glass

You can’t break what’s already broken
A lonely heart is used to being alone
Go ahead and tell me, “I don’t love you”
It’s not the first time I’ve been let down
Sorry to spoil your sadistic pleasure
But I’m accustom to being on my own
So go torture someone more fragile
You can’t rip what’s already torn
My heart is already cold stone
It can’t be shattered like glass

Broken Glass
The pieces are too sharp to pick
Up with my bare hands.
Instead I take a heavy brick
And smash it all. Where it lands?
Nobody can know for sure. They
Say truth is in a mirror that stands
Between reality and us. It might prey
On your weakness and wanting to be
Perfect like everybody else. The doorway
To your soul is within what we
Used to call the window of the soul.
Some days you just might get lost as sea
And you might feel less than whole.
Do not be fooled when you have less class
And pride. Swallow up what you stole
From everybody else. Some things pass
You by. Some days just feel like shattered glass.

Paint skies black with a tinge of red and lay me gently
It's just that when elevated then
depreciated, it is hard to
withstand enlightenment ^ it's a
struggle while blending on the
`avenues with wounded angels
who wears metal and their very
own pulses for haloes, looking
for celestial fire escapes`almost
like crawling on walls in air so
empty
passed lines of fate becomes
star-crossed lovers to bury the
mind's pace ^ for one more day,
to make up for lost time taken
while being forced to stand in
the mirror when it says 'I love
you more than anyone or any`
thing' but all my eyes can say
is she loves me, she love me
not
but, for the night she is mine,
as my fingers rest upon her lips
and breasts ^ humming,
"sometimes it's painful being
born over and over again"
with scars that invariably
makes you feel like Shattered

Plastic wrapped in mutual suffocation
Intimate in our twisted affection
The wrath of god is indifferent and frail
We practiced magic spells in the witch house
A celestical baptism to shatter the soul
Both gazed at Crystal Castles in the sky
Shadows on the concrete floating by
Reflects kerosene warmth that winter stole
Tell me what to swallow, escape violent dreams
Maybe chloroform could be the only cure
Like a year of silence and cold beside
Pressed against pale flesh I must deicide
With sad eyes, can I alone endure?
Violent youth burn, char the wrath of god
Untrust us, words shared in the mass
Fainting spells caused by loving and caring
Child I will hurt you with all I am sharing
A reckless crimewave with gifts of shattered glass
