Poetry Contest

I think sex is an important / awesome part of life, however it isnt everything.
One write per poet
Not too long I have ADHD
One month
Write about anything that has nothing to do with sex
Any questions, my mail is open
Can you be "explicit' without it being sexual....that's my question

Love is beautiful

I am in love with love as i always say

I believe even when people let me down

I know i will find my crazy or he will find me

As my tattoo says love is about Faith and Commitment

People fail in those two always

They lie they cheat because they are not committed

Then when they lose that special person they repent

But in most of the cases is to late

People don't have enough faith to believe in promise land

I do

People think that happiness is a myth

I don't. I think that we chose to be happy or sad

Life is difficult but we make it more difficult

I am happy most of the times

Why Why Why

because i was sad for too long

Now at my almost 40's my life just  started

And i will live next to a fighter not a coward anymore

He is not yet here but he is soon to come

That i know.

Let's Get Undressed

Let's get undressed, let's get naked,
show the hidden, that covered up.
I want to see you stripped down,
so leave those clothes on for tonight.

Prejudice speaks of challenges.
Anger reveals your boundaries.
Fear portrays work yet to be done.
Show the blemish, expose the scar.

Your hopes and dreams are true beauty.
Revelation of who you are.
Could I hold a goddess now,
splendor revealed for me to see?

I'll show you mine, naked as yours,
au naturel of myself exposed.
Let's celebrate uncovering,
disguises dropped at our clay feet.

Where do you shine, in God's glory?
Where do you sag, sad in the buff?
Reveal your true nature to me,
and leave those clothes on for tonight.

Skinny Dip

Skinny dipping is for all
Try it; the feeling will enthrall
It is not just for the young
Naked swimming is such fun

Don't worry about your body shape
Although at first some will gape
Ignore all these poisonous glances
You will relax as the day advances

You will see a range of figures
Sylphlike and those much bigger
Accept all you see around
As with  faces that abound.

The freedom of being nude
Should put you in a good mood
Relax and enjoy your swim
Then dry off in the sun

Public nudity should be legal
The naked body is quite regal
Why must we always hide
The organs that nature provide

                   evanescence of wild things

to go where the wild things are. it’s a compulsion,
it’s a bad move. but some guys can’t help it. some dames too.

these sordid encounters, they happen at night. & the night is not
so mean & cold after you’ve made friends with it. an anonymous
cocktail lounge, just off the highway, where the shooters are
lethal & the music is not danceable. but it doesn’t matter, I just
want to hold her close to me.

she’s there on a bar stool with a couple jokers already layin’ out
their bait. moonlight cruise in a Cadillac, fancy hotel suites,
maybe even hard cash. nothing smells as sweet as a fresh
hundred dollar bill.

and it doesn’t have to be that much. I’ve seen dolls do some
very dirty things for a lousy twenty bucks.

she spots me & gives her pinstripe romeos the slip, says she’s
gotta go talk to her agent. we embrace like familiar lovers, my
hands exploring the clinging fabric of her dress, mapping the
body beneath it. her fingers making warm spots on my neck, till
we don’t know who is the predator & who is the prey.

in the trembling shadows of the motel room, her body is
exciting & yielding beneath my carnivorous assault. she
absorbs my bites, my intruding tongue & fingers; her moans,
her untamed eyes, are those of a she-wolf. she pulls me in to
where I need to be, & it’s almost…

but it never is. because her face is not the face of the woman I
loved once, long ago. the woman who walked away, tearfully
broken by my terrible obsession  –  to run with the wild things.
& once again, I remember Marquez’s words: sex is the
consolation you get when you can’t have love.

maybe next week it will be a different town, a different bar.
a different dame.

with a bullet, it’s quick: one shot, over & done.
but love can kill you a thousand times…

NEVER TOGETHER FOREVER

No couple lives together forever
There is no such thing as living happily ever after
One of us will move on before the other
The other will be the lone survivor
So promise me this, my lover
Whose ever first to cross that immortal river
Let them wait with patient heart
To greet the other
When it’s their turn to enter
