Pu-leez?
I feel weird to put forth my pleas
To win me a trophy from here,
But such is the honor, so dear,
May I have that medal, pu-leez?
If you would be so kind to me,
I hope that you'll love what I wrote.
Just slip 'neath the doorway a note.
May I have that medal, pu-leez?
And if what I hope's meant to be,
As surely as I'm standing here,
The next round's on me of house beer!
May I have that medal, pu-leez?

No Cussing - - - - for The Win A Medal Comp
I cuss quite a lot
Like an internet bot
For me it’s what I ought
What I’ve been taught
It’s my verbal slingshot
Pretty much it’s all I’ve got
Free speech and thought
Does not need fought
Your censorship a plot
It really matters not
I could cuss on your blind spot
Or cuss out of your earshot
I wouldn’t care if I got caught
Just one cuss as my pot shot
I suppose I could boycott
But this challenge that you brought
Gets me angry, gets me fraught
I feel like a taking a cheap shot
Because poetic cussing’s what I’ve got
A cuss should be my parting shot
But I won’t start up the rot
When a medal’s what is sought
I should win the medal for cussing not
