THE LANGUAGE OF LAUGHTER

Would a loud squeal compensate for my joy, no an applause from my mouth as a I render my tones.
The space and time around me makes a sudden halt only to let me have this gracious moment to enjoy this talk.
My face always tightens up as I dwell on the excitement, so simple and adolescent, my inner child awakens.
The presence of whom I share this laughter with, will surely laugh on,
I can't help but smile so wide, it's so contagious, my friends truly pass this on!

Forbidden It.

By deleting this,
You won’t delete the laugh,

"Do not dare to do or say,
Something that make you laugh.

The laugh is corruption,
The laugh is us hiding our real feelings".

But I think to laugh,
Is better than crying.

"It doesn't matter,
To laugh is bad,

What is the difference,
Between a man and a chimp,

When they laugh?"

But how many accepted the punishment,
With a laugh, like that man,

Put on fire, saying it was cold,
And when their torturers,

Touched the fire they got burned.

"But that was fool!
Someone who dies has to show honor,

He doesn’t make fun about an incoming death,
He accepts it and looks strength to his enemy."

But doesn't the death laugh to everybody?
What can a man do if not laugh back to it?

A man can’t do anything else but to accept it.

Well, when death comes upon me I will laugh,
Nothing is going to change anyway.

"Make fun of it, you may be right, but in the end,
You have accomplished nothing."

So be it, I won’t laugh or make a fake laugh,
Look at my face, it will be the same.

Rumpled cotton sheets and sleepy smiles
Toes stretching to the edge in the morning sun
Its been a long night
Your prickly face tickles my skin
An unsolicited giggle ripples through the air
I am home

The Rhubarb Tree

Half way up a rhubarb tree in the mountains of Brazil

I met a gorilla in bathing shorts who said he'd come to chill

I said my word gorilla sir you’re a long, long way from home

He said ‘Yes sir I am on holiday piss off, leave me alone’



So I wandered down the mountain side and found a lava lake

I dipped my tootsies into it boy what a big mistake

For it was scorching hot you see and ruined my painted nails

And so I sang a lullaby to a school of flying whales


Though I did my best to soothe them they instantly took fright

And soared off up a waterfall to a nearby elf’s delight

His missus wasn't happy though, declared she was getting thinner

‘I had my eye on a pair of those for me and the old man’s dinner’



Next I met a dragon whose fire had gone out

So I lent him some matches he gave a grateful shout

He flew me up into the sky where we had such fun

We were shot down by a bully with a water pistol gun



The dragon chased the bully boy and caught him in a cave

He scorched his arse to a cinder a saying ‘a lesson for you knave’

When I awoke I was sitting astride a polka dot pink pony

My friend was standing next to me ‘More magic mushrooms Tony?’

Basking in sunshine.
Masking my eyes.
Drinking moonshine.
Teasing the wise.

Mocking the Devil.
Insulting his guise.
Dancing with revel.
Feeling oversize.

Laugh roses

General laughter
Seen from everyone
heard from close ones
smelled from destiny.
Never felt.


Soul laughter
Always unique
seen, heard, smelled
from beloved ones.
Always felt.

Is it better to feel
or is it better to laugh?

I never compete
with happiness,
I just shout
with what I have inside
and love with the roses
that plant a laugh on my body.
