Lunar Rescue

She was empty and prayed for him
He came to her hard and fast
His huge rise entered her being and     Created a beautiful crash
His huge rise plunged deep into her     Forcing her wet up and over onto his waiting shore

As he was growling his need
She sweet moaned of wanting more

Their lust confused the daylight
The sun just could not understand
The sun in fit threw their shadows into a dizzying slant

And for a blinded moment they lost grasp of each others hand

But the moon knodded knowingly
He answered in glowing course
He lit up their night with full extent
Of moons powerful force
And pulled the two back together like tides
Driving his masculinity into the velvet crux between her silken thighs

A hard frenzy of want existing in each others bodies and wake

The moon fueled him in driven motion And his driving motion satisfied her ocean of ache

Moon goddess

A beautiful moon full and bright
I hear her calling my name tonight
Saying come dance naked beneath my light and be free among the leaves
the wind whips through my long hair
And the bonfires heat crackles in the midnight air
your free to be yourself here she whispers
As I twirl and sway
The midnight dew scent fills the air with its presents
I sit in the grass and run my fingers across its blades and enjoy the night in all her magic Letting the earth sing to me as it soothes my soul

The Scary Truth That Is Sky-Winking

That white, innocent eye
blinks open at night,
just for me -
just to see
where my loyalties lie,

but the joke is on the moon -
I sing back her hollow tune,
and I give in:
lungs jaded,
hot-dead ultimatums,
my mind hers to play with,
as rough as she likes -

I give up, and I use
till I wink at the sky,
and my chemical vision
turns one
to two eyes.

/ the ocean laments. /

she is an enchantress
that i will never touch,
never to engulf in my waves,
she is
so
far
away,
and although gravity brings me
just a little bit closer,
i will forever
want to touch her,
see her soft glow up close,
know ever crater that
she possesses,
but i remain,
crashing, roaring,
always on earth.

Blood on the Moon

The last time I had seen a lunar eclipse I was a young girl standing in the middle of a tree-lined street with head tilted back as if to catch stardust in my hair, and arms outstretched to embrace the mother moon I had never seen in this way before. I didn't know that the blood on the moon was from sun rays passing through the earth's atmospheric veil, and I danced in the street that night in total awe of its red hue.

Now, here I was years later and grown, supine across the hood of my escort's BWM, shimmering and naked on a beach towel while the vehicle's host, sublime in his tuxedo, stood near, bemused and more interested in watching me than the night sky's celestial event. Resting against the windshield, I peered through his binoculars, saying my words to the image I spied through the lenses instead of directly at him:

"Ancient civilizations used to think that the moon was being swallowed whole. They'd beat drums and blow whistles to drive off the beast that would devour their goddess."

Nursing a glass of flat champagne, he approached the side of the car, admiring my form. "Yes, imagine. They took it as a sign of war and famine, and the end of their world."

I kept my eyes trained and replied, "What was terrifying to them is for us a moment of suspended beauty, a reminder of how we are travelers in space."

As a child I loved to lie on midsummer grass, my eyes on the wisps of clouds that passed overhead. I felt the earth rotate underneath the grass and the soil it grew from.  Lowering the binoculars and turning towards him:

"I don't want to be in a box in the dark in the ground. Carry me on the updrafts to the clouds that rain down. Let a tree drink of me. I'll go to the tips of its branches, I'll turn sunlight into green leaves that reach for the clouds that I used to watch when I'd feel the earth turn beneath me."

He indulged me while I reminisced and then finally took my hand to guide me back into the car while all around was bathed in blood as the lunar goddess was consumed.

the little dew drop

the night gave birth to a million dew drops
they shined for the moon who dressed in white
to light up the sky festooned with stars

wind blew carrying the songs of the mountains
to little dew drops to dance on the green grass
and put a show to entertain the moon

and there was one,

who fell in love with the moon
he wanted to show his affection to her
he climbed to the top of the tallest grass leaf
and said,

“oh what a beauty you are,
the pearl in the sky,
because of you I shine like a star
just before the end of my life
I want to kiss you and
let you feel my love”

suddenly the wind stopped
last cricket calmed her baby’s cry
screams of the frogs turned to murmurs
bats landed to the nearest trees

then there was a silence…

too scary..
scarier than a moonless cold dark night

poor little dew drop
as little did he knew
he wasn’t supposed to express his love
to the bride of the torrid sun

the wind,
loyal servant of the sun
started to blow as fast as he can
to throw the little dew drop
from the leaf to the ground

but,
his love was strong and true
he wanted to prove
he held tight
as his brothers and sisters fell

now the wind carried a different song
a song of his own, violent and cruel

the little dew drop
saw the death of his siblings
but he couldn’t give up on his true desire
he still wish to kiss the moon

the moon,
she was watching him from above
gazed up at him with a monalisa smile
she tried to hide her tears but it escaped her eyes
between the closing clouds
to join

the little dew drop

still hanging on the leaf watching
her face fading away in to the dark clouds

her tear drop fell on his face
making him strong
he grabbed the leaf stronger than before
now the wind has no power over him

the wind,
became tired,
he couldn’t defeat a little dew drop
he was ashamed and moreover afraid
to see the redness in the east sky
his master is coming

the little dew drop
took a deep breath,
he wanted to face the torrid sun
he wanted to fight the sun
he wanted to win the moon's heart

the mighty sun
shot rays far from behind the mountains
angrier than ever
his anger paint the whole east sky red
clouds parted to make way and
trees moved their branches
so his rays will hit

the little dew drop directly

he shined to the rays like never before
he couldn’t bare the torridness
yet he challenged the mighty sun
he stared back at the him
he was glowing with determination

and the mighty sun removed his red cloak
and start to shoot the bright white rays
straight through the little dew drop

“I love you.. I will always…”

he muttered his last words
as he was vapoured to the clouds

the green grass
will give the message to the moon
when she come out the next time
may be he will tell this love story
to warn the new born dew drops
may be there will be another rebellious one
but,
the grass will remain to tell the story
