Sight: Lake
sound: plane
Smell: gas
Taste: Curry
Touch: skin

The sight was so beautiful but not yet was it perfect.
She looked out to see the beautiful lake, the sight was possibly unreal
The roaring in her ear was a plane
But her beating heart was all she hear
As she stepped off as if she was an
angel out of the air
With the smells of gas fumes around her vision was impaired
As the fumes disappeared
She seen the beautiful man of whom she had traveled to see.
In his arms is the only place she wanted to be
His lips tasted of curry but never had she tasted someone so sweet
She had dreamed of the day she could feel their lips meet.

Sight: rain
Sound: rain
Smell: rain
Taste: salt
Touch: rain

sight: ghostly apparition
sound: clunk
scent: something od
taste: fear
touch: a mobile phone

GHOSTLY ENCOUNTER

There in the corner of my room
I feel a strong sense of doom
With all lights out, the room is dark
My dog begins to bark
yet I see a blinking light
Of a ghostly apparition in the night

Clunk...Clunk..is the sound i hear
as the ghostly being draws awfully near
The scent of the dead is something odd
i see its evil grin and I scramble for my rod

It knows I see it and it knows I'm there
Life flashes before me as I horridly stare
Right in the face of this ghostly being.
I can't believe what I am seeing!

Fear leaves its dreadful taste in my mouth & tongue
I can't help but scream to the top of my lungs
But to my surprise,
it winks and replies,
"Shhh! Not so loud, living corpse,
You're going to go hoarse!
just let me touch your mobile phone....
E.T. has to go phone home..."

Blind are we
to see the shadows
within
deaf are we
to hear the children
scream
pain we bring
when we touch
what we think
we understand
the words we speak
are just sweet
promises
lingering
on a corrupted tongue
ashes we smell
when the sun sets
on the future
of our young

Sight  Shadows
Sound  Screams
Smell  Ashes
Taste  Sweet
Touch  Pain

drone, what caused the pain upon touch - the answer is what made the pain.

Thank you, Cyndi!

The children all ran through the field,
Their laughter shivered jasmine bright
They picked & ate the sweet & sour
While laying on soft pillows green.

Sight---Fields
Sound---chapel bells
Smell---fresh dew
Taste---vanilla
Touch--cold steel

A Life of Regrets

The smell of morning fresh dew fills the air
As I gaze upon the open fields and stare
Still remember the sound of the chapel bells
As I lean forward and touch my cold steel cell.
Regrets and remorse fill my days
As my body and my life waste away.
Thinking if things would’ve been different
A second chance would make all the difference.
Hard lessons learned is like swallowing vinegar
When at every integer
If I had done right, life would’ve had me tasting
And basting and marinating
My buds in sweet vanilla.

Sight:  Moonlight walk
Sound:  laughter
Smell:  perfume
Taste:  wine
Touch:  holding hands

I see you in my dreams
Hear your melodic laughter
We stroll hand and hand in the night
Down the moonlit path
Through the field of lilac and clover
Their perfume permiates the air reaching me in my slumber
I awaken startled disoriented
As my mind begins to clear
My eyes begin to fill with tears
Tears begin to fall for time wasted-things left unsaid
Crying for the trips we will never take-delicases uneaten
Wines never sipped-never drank-never tasted
Oh how I long that I could forever and ever sleep
So that in my dreams you would come visit me

Sight. Lightening
Sound sobbing
Smell sulfur
Taste chocolate
Touch feather light caresses

Sight. Lightening
Sound sobbing
Smell sulfur
Taste chocolate
Touch feather light caresses

Sobbing sounds fills the star-lightening night
As I turn off all the house lights
And simply gaze out into the sky
Wondering why your silent goodbye.
Lightning strikes the barn next door
As the rain begins to pour
I remember the days of your feather light caress
As you seductively slowly pulled down my dress
We melted like two burning candles into each other
Promised never to leave one another
Yet here I am alone tonight staring at the rain
Wondering if you could see my pain
From heaven above
Wishing to hear you say it is I you love
My love, my love you are far gone
And loneliness is now my new song
The taste of your last chocolate kiss still lingers round my tongue
While the day had not yet dawned and the bird had yet not sung
The smell of your cologne I can still scent in my mind
Though the night brings me whims of sulfur as my thoughts of you unwind.

Sight:  Two lovers
Sound: kissing
Smell: sweet apple pies
Taste: sweet wine
Touch: soft rose petals

Sight, Mountain
Sound, flapping wings
Smell, cinnamon
Taste, bitter
Touch, moist

The Perfect Night

Come, my love, let's gaze upon the mountains' top
As we rest a while and just stop
Lets take a break; I'll bring the wine
Come lay your head next to mine
Let's hear the birds' flapping wings
As the nightingale starts to sing
The night is young and the air is crisp
Let me taste the bitter sweetness of your moistened lips
As nature embraces us with its cinnamon scent...
Come, my love, it only makes sense
To make love all day and hold you tight
On this perfect lovely night...💕

Sight:  Full moon
Sound: howling wolves
Smell: berries
Taste: coconuts
Touch: soft feathers

Sight, seascape
Sound, radio playing
Smell, camomille
Taste, creamy
Touch, clutching fingers

STRAIGHT-UP

There we are...with clutching fingers
Allowing the moment to slowly linger
As you lead me to the Mod Cafe by the beach sand
To taste creamy ice cream as we sit hand in hand
Surrounded by the radio playing nature's sound
And the beautiful seascape in the background,
The scent of camomile begins to rise
As I look deep into your beautiful eyes
And I fall in love again
Remembering where it all begins.
With each moment passing us by,
With joy, my heart lets out a cry...

Eleven plus years
Sharing laughter and tears
Who knew we'd be together
Loving forever?

My partner, my friend, my beautiful love
I will be gentle with you as a delicate dove
And hope that you get a subtle clue
That my love for you
Is Straight-Up true....💕
