Onyx Drops Of Madness

reigning darkness
is the color of my rain
onyx shadowing a soul

that lies prostrate
in subservience
to the inner demons

that plague my existence
the true nature of my being
hidden away by their visceral faces

melancholy rain drops
pour down on a lonely heart
sheltering in their ferocious pull

the face of madness emerges
darkly beautiful in it's visage
a covering to my reality

fantasy the shade
the waters that I bathe in
cleansing me of all that ails

today I long to strip bare
dance under cascading waters
rainbow in color

paint myself pretty
with their lovely diverse hues
no longer a death moth

now a multi colored butterfly
showing all the beauty
of a crystal reflecting a whole soul

on loving rain

i'm the highest
when deep inside
this moist
mauve

soft slow same

a cadence drifting
into your mind

soft slow same

I open up
your cells
one by one
and live there

soft slow same

whisper poems on
the tenderest parts of
your flesh

others will ask:

how are you?
and you will speak in
tongues of lilac

confessing feelings
perfect and small
like raindrops
hidden inside your
mauve pearl

         fire in the rain

there is a rain that scalds you like liquid fire.
it is flung from the broken skies as if the gods
themselves were in fear of it. only fools would
challenge its wrath. fools like me.

there is a desire, relentless, that consumes me. desire
for a woman, a dark-haired woman, whose eyes haunt
me even in my sleep. in every moment of my agony, I
require her smell, the feel of her trembling flesh under

my hands, the taste of her mouth & every inch of her form
that I must chew like a rabid hound.
I pace my rooms, my cage, until that demented lust compels
me to attack the thunderous night, & I run to your little house,

the maginot line of your resistance. in the beating rain & the
saturated earth I stand. my t-shirt & khakis are inundated, so I
rip them off & feed them to the wind. my canvas shoes are
removed & tossed away. the wet ground grips my feet, intent

on dragging me to hell.
I stand there naked, unarmored, in the driving rain, & I see you
behind your window, your face confused, yet aware of my madness.
‘come out!’ I shout in my anger, ‘come out!’

you hesitate briefly, then remove your robe. nude as a newborn
savage, you are an earthbound goddess. Aphrodite of the mud.
you rush into the bruising rain, the cleansing rain, & we are
wrapped in each other.

our lips & tongues eat wet kisses. we are welded, each upon each,
flesh upon flesh. & the burning rain be damned, as it immolates us.
two lovers, one pillar of fire…
fire in the rain.

Colourless song of the rain

blood has a colour but the tears don't,
like the rain in the barren grounds
helps green to grow and to forget till the next monsoon
With every tear drop I sow a seed filled with hope
unlike the soil, nothing grow on my pillow

The sleepless midnight ends with,
my arms hugging my knees
peeling off the dry skin from my ankle,
rusty cuffs wont let my wounds to heal

So I listen to the rain on my roof
Wind waved the volume and vapour in my cote
fill in of thunder screening shady shows

then comes the outro, the last verse
played by the drops at the edge of the roof tiles
wind will blow a background harmony
conducting the music to trees
leaves and branches play their solos
then the crickets join in, then the frogs,
special features by wolves and owls

it is my window of satisfaction
I feel refreshed, I feel calm, I feel empty...

then the alarms of crows
the rooster, final act of my show
I don't want the sun to rise
I cant bear the torrid air
comes from the iron grill above

I love the night
I love the rain

await your visit
bring me a
new song

Deep depths

Deep drops of dark hued depth
a royal and oxford blue
closer to black in its breadth,
spider-silk silver ripples in the inky pools
while onyx clouds clash overhead
with steel-tinged streaks of lightning
and thunder complemented by pale spray
resonating in primal power.

The extensive scene so intense in colour,
as I stand in the rain and let it wash over me;
black cloaked arms out, cupped pink palms upwards,
legs braced as the midnight blue tide rises
and obsidian hair harassed backwards from my face,
I channel the profound in clear clarity and finally find myself
in the deep blue rain.

kaleidoscope

my rain is psychedelic
a kaleidoscope of colours

teardrops caught in the loving embrace from another
become a rainbow after I’ve cried my tears

sadness comes when those I love
don’t understand my need for tears

they may originate from pain
but they flow with love

Calico Crumble

clouds aloft spray
surging silvered streaks,
ricocheting off
my astral body heat

evaporate
from my igneous skin
the map of fate
start to fizz and begin

to melt,
out of the ether
magma tinged,
rivulets run deeper
erode my face singed

numbingly lightning lit
fracturing arctic azure
accompanying permafrost pricks
shroud my contours

freeze sinew down my back
coil the heart in my spine,
seep into,
around the cracks
of my soul’s faultline

listen,
a sorrowful sonata trickle
into gutters of despair
a powerful whisper tremble
descend, while I prepare

for the
exquisite orgasm
to splash convex rainbows
after enduring explosive prisms
conjure the complexion of calico...

My Rainbow's Glow

Rain's shining down.
My face dripping with its glow as it's imprinting my soul.

RED is my rage, anger, and pain.
Rain keeps falling down to the ground.

ORANGE is there to see if you care. "No, not at this point."
Rain's shining bright now.

YELLOW's my sun, the laugh, the fun.
Rain's shining faster.

GREEN is my life, envy, mistrust.
Rain's shining coldly.

BLUE is your breath that I want to snuff out. Your blue makes me bitter and worn.
Rain's almost over, shining is dim.

VIOLET's my happy...the rainbow kicked in.

Can't have my rainbow without the rain.

Go away now so my rainbow can GLOW.

Rain Dance

Crystal clear
caressed by sunshine
glorious prisms of life
when I love
and I am beloved

Black teardrops
splash the soil of my soul
nurturing self-hatred’s seed
nature and hue
of depression

Flesh colored sweat
plummets off eyelash
nose and nipple
futile attempt
to quench coital flames

Blood-red torrent
bathes my genuflected frame
sating thirst for mercy
divine metamorphic balm
my sin's absolution

Today, grey is the color of my rain
It reflects moments of pain
and the struggle that I have staying sane

Missing the love of my life
Living in a household full of strife
Trying to decide if settling should suffice
when all I want to do is roll the dice

It rains a lot where I want to go
and it is far from the falling snow
With loved ones that I know
I'm not sure why I've delayed the show

Tomorrow the color of my rain is blue
for freshness and life anew
There will be peace when I do
follow my heart for a few

The rain will make dew on the grass
and there will be richness at last
for my life, all life, sunshine is in the forecast
For today, though, I am stuck in the past
