what abominations will rise
through evolution's squared Life
what hideous spawn
when synthetic is synthesized?

Soul Stealers
Over run with soulless things
Of blood and cartilage and
Hollow carcasses
Walking about with dead eyes
That only see the now
Spineless back stabbing vermin
Multiplying by binary fission
Infesting the world
Eager to serve
They prostitute themselves
At their idol’s whim
No pride in anything
No thought given
To the rest of us
That toil righteously alongside
Ethics burned into our souls
Fighting for equality and
A foothold to withstand
The raging machines
That stamp their marks and
Steal your souls
To transform the individuality
Into cogs for replacements and
Worms to service them
We must pick up
The banner of change and
Let the revolution begin
While we still have a soul

Feeling good was
at one point
good enough
we roamed the earth
had it all
the land was every ones
like the breeze through the trees
harmoniously dancing with the animals
really what more
could one want
when nature provided
all that would be needed
Money
wealth
and power
its all an illusion
pulled over our eyes
When did we trade freedom
for a phone
that dictates it all
Feeling good was
at one point

we roamed the earth
had it all

Monarchy, democracy
isn't this justice?
The country that breeds hope
