Love, love, love!

L-Lushious lunar longing
O-Obscure oblivion obsession
V-Vulcaninc,vague vibrant veil
E-Eternal,ethereal,exstatic embrace

When I hear the word love,
I look around quickly,
To find out who uttered the word,
For it means different things to the sexes.

For a guy love is the perfect hole,
For a lady it's the accepted peg,
It can mean something more,
Forgive me for narrowing it to this I beg.

Like every other my opinion,
Is a product of what I've read,seen and heard,
Beyond what is in for them,
Most love I've seen are not far from dead.

For most love only targets the flashy,
Look well you'll find motives,
There's no unconditionality about it,
Love has become a thief.

A con word used by all,
To garnish what they want,
Now who'll dare refuse the appealing call of love?
Or spare what it demands.

Things are unduly given,
In material,cash and kind,
Sense of reason is most times obscured,
In a lover's mind.

For between the duo,
One is always out for a catch,
But when two fakers meet,
I call that a perfect match.

Pour out a sugary liquid,
No doubt the bees will gather,
Take sweetness out of nowadays' 'love',
And you'll witness them scatter.

For even rivers go dry,
And beautiful flowers wither,
If love was as true as they  professed it,
How can circumstances make them shatter?

So I will tell you the fact as it applies to me,
I view love from a suspicious side,
But no matter how fake love has become,
Falling in love remains the wisest foolish thing to do.

Meant to fool the eyes
Of the betrayal within
The definition of sin

Meant to cool the cries
Of the loneliest ones
The meaning of wars to be won

Meant to heal a heart
Before it breaks it apart

On the sweetest lies

My Wolf
your eyes
soft,cool,and calculating
in them i see my wolf
you're quick to a joke and to light up a smoke
gracefully pursed between your beautiful lips
innocence shines bright
in your cool green eyes
only with the purest intentions
one foot in front of the other
you express your thoughts in your talents
and talented you are

my shadow is a wolf
following his lions footsteps
calculating and protecting
as she talks
stumbling over her own words
and her own clumsy paws
without his soft smile and strong form
shredded by a merciless world she would be
she is soft hearted and strong minded
and he handles her well
with and equally soft heart and smooth calculated steps
he guides her towards the freedom she so longs for

like dew on the soft petals of a lavender rose
you are true love
and to me your voice is as soothing as
the pitter-patter of rain on the windowsill
your touch is as soft and pure
as the fog on our skin , two hits deep at 4 in the morning
and your eyes
more beautiful still
at that moment
where time ceases to exist
even more clear
mirroring your soul in every movement
in every spirited word you speak

in our future i see bright star filled skies
and the sweet breath of forever
ill go there with you
as unbridled and free as you make me feel
and together we'll run as the animals we are
free from the judgements of the world around us
with you i'll dance to the bass of a summer night
and in the morning i'll snuggle to your side
and sleep peacefully
basking in the comfort and content of our nocturnal lives

you are everything as it should be
a shining example of good in the world
thank you
for being my freedom
for bringing me to loud nights and open skies
my rose
my wolf
thank you for being yourself

BITTERSWEET MEMORIES

I always dream about you every single night
trying to recreate that magical moment
Making love
for the very first time
I can still feel your warm, soft body next to mine,
as I peel off the layers
till I reach your core
My earthly desires consumed you to the last petal
got intoxicated, as I watched you bleed,
and tears of joy fell down to your cheeks
while you claimed me as well
to be your own

Those bittersweet memories, shall I regret?
For only in my dreams could I,
make love with you
after that fateful night
Those beautiful eyes of yours
keep haunting my wandering soul

Countless seasons have passed,
yet bittersweet memories
still haunt me,
feeling guilty for not coming back
I blame myself for your tragedy
that will haunt me forever
for the rest of my days

How can I escape shadows of the past
when every time I see your gloomy eyes
Without a single word you remind me
of our young love—
gone, forlorn

LET’S TAKE A RIDE DOWN MEMORY LANE


Come with me and let's take a long walk
Along the shores of Tigwi as we often talk
Hand in hand we slowly take our steps
As our bare feet kiss the cold morning waves

We can only imagine how we used to laugh
On that same beach where we swam and played
Over five hundred full moons had passed,
Yet to me... seems like it wasn't in the past

Now that we're back in each other's arms
Let's spend the rest of our lives together
Walking barefooted on the tiny pebbled beach
Once we get tired we'll take a horse ride

You take the brown horse, I'll be on the white one
Every stride peels the layers of time we're both alone
Our hearts sing as the horses begin to gallop-- a harmony
So sweet and beautiful only the two of us could hear

If you remember, I wrote the lyrics to that song
As I play with my guitar you always sing along
Now I'm quite sure my guitar no longer weeps
For it has found its loving home for keeps

We sit holding hands on the silvery sands and watch
The crimson sun slowly hiding behind Malindig's veils
And we lay down gazing at the moon and the stars
Reciting my poems and reminiscing our forever love
This is how I envisioned our daily rituals would be
Until the sands of time stop and close its portals
Then I'll ask the moon to recite my poems for you
While the stars reveal to the world our love-- eternal...

Second chance

Here we are, back again.
face to face, since way back when.
It's deja vu when i'm with you.
I can't believe it's like a dream come
true,
but girl you should know.
That my feelings for you baby ain't
never changed.
It blows my mind every time
somebody mentions
your name.
Yet all this time I was out there
dealing with this pain,
all the while you were out there baby
feeling the same.
So where do we go from here?
Times have changed and so have we
over the years.
Yes I know we have our fears, but
don't let that stop
what we have, baby right now, right
here.
girl, all this time I was waiting and
debating on love,
it was always you who I came back
to dreaming of.

Now lets begin our journey.

in this sacred world of mine.

as we walk across the beach of a
sunlit place that I want to show you.

when I was a little kid the only one
whoever used the love word was my nan -

she used to say, "alright, love?"

no one has ever said it to me with such an
easy grace since then, so far as I can think of -

love?

love is a peaceful night
with gentle clouds floating effortlessly
in the soft black sky
sprinkled with an array of colourful stars
a bird on a tree singing
a full-moon beaming
illuminating beauty
fixing cracks in the soul


love is a terrifying night
with a full-moon hidden, in a thick black sky
a horrible wolf howling
in an unseen bush nearby
clouds, in an uncounted second
clog up to form thunderclouds
raging with lightening
inviting a storm
