AUSTRALIA

The Tourism Trade

Dad went on a vacation
with mom to Australia.
walking by this place
making solid slabwood tables
Perth college students learning
He bought a 1 by 3 meter with eight chairs
Shipping home
Cost as much as the table!

The Wildlife

One side of an endless fence
rabbits ate the ground bare
the rabbit free side lush green

Gila Monster lizard bites its prey
Bacteria from their teeth
do a slow kill

100 pound cassowary birds
Spikes behind their feet
eviscerate hikers
With swift ninja kick

Not to mention boxing Kangaroos!

The People

Working alongside a
gentleman from Australia
Fun jovial, Cocky, Irreverent
Talked of a walkabout around
Australia shorelines

He brought everyone lemonade
but had not rinsed
out his cooler well
It sure tasted strong of soap!

DAYDREAMER

-Eyes On The Sky-

Fingers dancing hastely
while reaching for the stars.
Wandering admiration
with every breathless moments taken.
I start the midnight hour
with a promise of forever-golden flower.
With my eyes on the sky
I lose all sense of time.
To ticking time bombs I paid little mind.

-Foresaken wishes-

Have the stars Foresaken me?
All those nights of endless conversation.
Have they spilled my secrets onto the face of the universe?
The earth now collecting a debt
of which I remember not committing to?
Have my wishes been laid out to dry?
Amongst too many others claimed by lost time?
With little motivation to back up the romance of my ambitions
perhaps the stars saw me unfit to hold them in clean hands.
Hands unworn from the weathers of this world of which I plant my feet.
I have not made my pressence known.
Feet with know footprints returns with hands without stars.

-The wonders Of The Universe-

A lifetime spent reaching for the stars
lead to a moment of realization
that this day is just but ours.
The universe is not only in the sky
that of which romanced me
but also running through these vains
And the hands used to touch
And the feet used to walk.
The wonders of the universe are painted on this earth.
The secrets of the stars are written on our hearts.
The wishes we long for are ours
So long as we play our part.

She watches as they lay her body down,
figures standing Stone Henge perfect
around eternal abyss.
Shedding crocodile tears in mock sorrow,
borrowed by a lie.
It’s funny how many friends you have when
your dead….

On breaking down

1.

sometimes,
it's like trying to hug the rain
but you do it anyway
and soak yourself drenched
because every drop you feel
is worth it

2.

find the fuse box,
a kill switch has flipped
and cut the lights right out
sunset will bring some
but it cant't
bring the electricity

3.

sometimes, the mind
is a Saboteur
a cold steel killer
bent on brain domination
it's way, or no way at all
perish the thought
of stability

Brothers   by Gearigon  136 words

Remember the Fallen

I knew a man
Had his faults
Liked to brawl
Had a knife in his hand
Closer than brothers
Eye to eye
Throat to throat
Hand to hand
Now he’s gone
He lived on the brink
I tried hard to help
But in the end
I lost him to drink

3

One made of anger
One of regret
One searching for others
Of a past they never met
So come along with me
And lay your feet on this path
To meet the three
Severed sons
Of a sycopath

Until Then

Before
Beyond
Above
And beneath
I’ve got ten
Till severed dawn
And I’ve got reality
Between my teeth
So before the line
Beyond the world
Above your mind
And beneath the sign
I’ll see my brothers on the
Side of the lion
And the end
Of our time

Pussy

the pussy is sweet

pussy so sweet make a man heat
where in the world did this girl
get such a sweet fine little pussy
men salivate and get hard like an iron plate
the girl can make a man wait
but the man is already smitten
by the pussy sugar

the pussy is wet

but when a girl is seduced by a man of character
and he refuses to give in to her charity
she exclaims exoneration all the while
her juices are gushing forth
her walls of sugar become so moist
she begs for pleasure
but the man has the choice
so he makes her wait
for his penis thunder

the pussy is beaten to death

the attraction surmounts and builds
two forces engage in the deadly dance
of give and take
her womb aches for the icing on the cake
he cannot contain his stiff standing ovation
she begs for deeper penetration
she wants a deeper meditation
her black hole is eager to swallow
all of his suns and stars
and the power of nature created
a new death with a new life
the pussy was beaten
and the pussy was satisfied

Arrogance

Vroom, Vroom

Silver BMW intent on owning
the patch of asphalt directly
in front of my vintage VW.
My bug’s odometer reads
214,993 with at least 200,000
spent with halogen high beams
lighting up my rear view
mirror like the fires of hell.

Voyagers Vain

Your breath wretched enough
with garlic and alcohol from 9 to 5
but listening ad nauseam to details
of fine wine and dine where I can’t
afford to take a shit makes  me break
bulimic gorging on your greatness
and puking out the pompousness
leaving a bad taste in mouth.

Vexing Vixens

Pixels arranged pretty
enough so how can
an average  man resist
a click to drop line in
water to see if there’s
a chance for romance
but the only thing dropping
is me dead as apparently one
has to look like Brad Pitt
to even be acknowledged
in Cupid’s cyberspace.

Again sorry for the delay. Winners are Toni, Eamon and Minerva. Congrats to all three. It was a hard decision, but in the end it was Toni that pulled my heart strings the most with her heartbreaking little series. Everyone else, thank you for taking the time to contribute.
