World Peace

She was; on the beach,
on Molly, on him.
She teased
that he looked like
a Greek Deity/ Rolling Stone
hybrid.
He believed
in her sweetness
in such a way
that he wondered
if she wasn't the answer
to world peace.
She looked up from
his thigh, her pillow,
enchantedly saying,
"If we ever fall in love,
I hope it feels precisely
like this."
He smiles at her notion
and she smiles at his smile.
Somewhere, The Gods,
they smile at the both of them.

The Music of the Spheres

The eternal silence of these infinite spaces fills my mind with dread.
We've filled the heavens, the Earth, and the fullness thereof
With emptiness instead.
Where did the cosmic fullness go?
And what has it emptied out into?
Made void by the minds that think they know
But hardly ever had a clue.
If were fortunate enough to glimpse the truth through the smog of our pollution
Then we will find embedded there the source of our solution.
I we could amplify the sound of light and love
then we'd feel the ghost of truth descending like a dove.
Blot out the sound of ignorance and fear.
Then we will hear the music of the spheres.

I want to reach out and touch your soul
but I cant
So let me hold your hand
And our souls can dance
with our eyes
with our words
dance with me
And i'll sweep away your cares
I care for you more than words can say
can you feel me when I say I love you
I do
And I've never uttered truer words
My love is true
And my love is great
And I would hate not to spend the rest of my days with you

Fence

I've seen you glance
over my fence
one to many times
and your expression betrays
what you're truly feeling inside

you wonder if the grass
is truly greener
on my side of the fence?

I could lie to you
be selfish and say "Yes"
but that would only put love
to an even greater test

so I will keep my defenses low
and leave fate to a fighting chance
and if this fighting chance should win
I will never give you reason to wonder
if the grass is truly greener
on her side of the fence

The Way I Want You

I can tell by the way my insides tremble at the thought of your body wanting mine, that I can't possibly know how this should be done. Any preconceived idea I've ever entertained on making love, falls so far short of the way I want to make you feel that I'm loving only you, and that I've never felt anything like "US" before.
I can only imagine the way we'll unravel in unison and unwind into each-other as our skin responds with an eager hunger that could only feel like stardust and warm rain pouring over us. I can only hold my breath as I anticipate the serenity of your heartbeat being so near my own and barely contain the emotion as I forecast my every atom existing to satiate you, to bring you pleasure.
I can only sigh, the long sigh that only a deeply held desire can conjure, and feel myself ache for a touch that I know will supersede the greatness of anything I've been changed by thus far. I can feel the carpet move underfoot as the world spins my head to a dizzy pace that weakens my knees and quickens my pulse as my mind has that lost for words feeling and my body wants to succumb to an eternity, looking into your eyes and feeling every part of all you are, inside me.
I can only fall short, trying to convey some sense of how I'd feel complete, for once, simply knowing you'd be there when I woke up.
I can tell that I can't possibly know how this is done, but I've never craved anything more.

The sun lies behind the clouds

To sup of such sweet nectar
Dilutes the venom instilled within
Bringing a new palpitating rhythm
To this body’s beating engine

Walking naked circles in the intersection
The point where these two paths meet
Both heavily laden with footsteps and trampled
Yet course stone brings callous to bare feet

Let us beat down a new path
Through the overgrowth of mystery
And wander through the thickened foliage
To the light which pierces through the shade of canopies

Defrost the ice left from past years
Shed your defenses
Open your eyes
And wipe your tears

Though the future nights promise inevitable cold
Inescapable loneliness and pain
The fire inside remains hot
And burns with a playful flame

This magnetic attraction relaxes the tension
No longer grinding teeth
White knuckles alleviated by cool blue innocence
Again the spread of wings

I foresee the birdsong sang on Un-deaf ears
As the stars shine in the rediscovered depths of space
Feel the touch of desire
And ponder the lines in my hands embrace

We can watch the flora from previous seasons wither with pride
Welcoming the new
One with nature the seasons change
And in the untraveled wilderness people do too

From caterpillar to moth
Progression is forever undone
Evolution is change for the better
So what will we become?

What will tomorrow bring for us?
I shed these nights like a tree and its leaves
A temporarily barren skeletal mystery
Awaiting be renewed in the spring

When it seems that darkness is the only thing around
I'm here just call me
Because the sun lies behind the clouds

Still Here

not a day goes by
a tear doesn't fall
with a thought of you

my heart still holds you
soul still kisses you
smile still feels you

a lot of changes
have come our way
specially with you

my hug still is yours
craving to feel your sweet kiss
upon my warm curves

why didn't you have
the faith in me
to luv you thru it

still here for you
you're more than
just a smile to me

you're my hearts sigh

YOUR WHISPERS ARE MUSIC TO MY EARS

River of tears seem to drown your heart forever
forever grieving first love lost in the murky river
Fear of the night alone brings you to tears
tears dried up once you conquered the fear
Hiding for so long you forgot about living
living in an empty nest, time to come out of hiding

Raven hair of yours comes down from heaven
heaven only knows why it’s black as a raven
Desires of mine to touch it are like raging fires
fires burning my soul always filled with desires
Vespers of love heard as the wind gently whispers
whispers are music to my ears in times of vespers

Embrace me with your warmth as I’m falling from grace
grace so divine, I am longing for your blazing embrace
Tears of joy filled my heart and cast away my fear
fear of losing you forever washed away in tears
Loving you is worth more than living
living without you, my heart would stop loving

To the Jaded Heart

In the flourished symphony of this orchestra;
   I sound mute, I sound…blasé.
Ahead of you are the winds whispering
whimsical secrets to the woods waiting
for the percussions to pounce on the
praying ears of hopeful, young, love.
You’re enchained by this symphony;
   you stand here, gyrate guilefully
to tell me you’re opening your
   war wounds to whomever is
   willing to whisk you away
from your battles to a new destiny
   of dancing with dandelions
   —wishing our wailing souls
to a fresh present where malicious
   music cannot magically steal you.
They’re insulting me!—eager to dismantle my mortality;
the chorus is coming, I hear
Bach baffling in how I can recover, I hear
Mozart mysteriously setting me up to fail, I hear
Beethoven bombarding me with a cage to my confidence,
so I run, she doesn’t flinch, she continues to be
enthralled by all of your masterpieces!
Beyond the exit of the classical arena is a garden;
I fetch a bouquet of dandelions, and I plan
this miraculous speech to retrieve you, I rush
back and  you’re speaking to another,
I blow the dandelions and retreat to the exit
when I hear you call for me, you introduce me
to the maestro, the master, the man of the hour,
   the conductor—your teacher?
The concert has ended;
we exchange our greetings and goodbyes
and you ask if those are for you,
although nearly bald, you accept them
and request to do this once more,
for you didn’t perform tonight so you could—
   my heart heaves hollow stresses
and I have undoubtedly fallen in love
with my heart’s ability to feel this phenomenal
   power.

Woman
You are a goddess
Let your body be
My temple
That I may fill you up
With worship and adoration
Prostrate myself before you
Making declarations of self-denial
Touch your sacred alter with
Trembling hands
Drink deeply of your perfumed magnificence
And spread the gospel of your love
And of my love for you

Her Words

When I read
Her words,
I’m no longer
Numb.

A million
Fucking miles
Away, she still
Puts a smile
On my face.

She talks dirty
Better than
Any other
Girl I know,
All the while
Writing these
Love poems
That make me
Believe it could
Be true.

Mystery is a
Motherfucker
For a dreamer
Like me and
Her’s is the
Best I know.

She is like a
Star in the night
Seen through a
Smoke screen--
Fire through
Rose colored
Glasses.

She is
Pure beauty,
Broken, only
Perfectly.
