Dear Santa...
Santa...
The night falls, I stay awake,
I wait for you to come.
Bring me what I wished for,
please Santa, I need them!
The other kids are already in bed,
holding their teddy bears,
dreaming of you,
dreaming of their moms and dads.
The nuns all said, you won't come,
you only come to good children,
so you won't come here.
But I believe you'll come.
So I sit at the window and stare into the night,
only one light lightens the darkness,
it says: "White feather - Children's home"
and I wait for them to come.

i want someone who cares
i want to stop cutting

would you be willing
to give big bright smiles
and some laughs?
could I have a family?
a future?
a life to life, to share.
cut out all of this uneeded yelling,
break free from the stress.
could I have one day?
hopefully more,
of joy, hope,
can my mind just go blank?
can I lose myself in cheap wine
and smiles?
presents and hugs?
could I have a family of my own, a life to live,
minutes that feel like a million years.
to give big bright smiles
and some laughs?
could I have a family?
a future?
a life to life, to share.

Dedicated myself to walking an eight fold path
On the road to enlightenment
Only to be enlightened that you didn't exist
I've performed good deeds
Gave time to charity
Practiced good behavior
Didn't expect much in return
All I wanted was a fucking bike
Couldn't even get that
Because you weren't real
Wasted so much time
Almost caught carpel tunnel syndrome
Writing all those letters
Wasted all my money on all those stamps
Mailing out my letter to a phony address
Wasted all my prayers on you
Nam-myoho-renge-kyo
You big fat liar

Thank you all, these are ALL worthy entries! Congrats to awakened soul , tornado, and xomarie I read the ten entries I liked best to carpe-noctem without telling him who wote them and he picked the winner. We then both decided on runners up.
