Poetry Contest

Write a poem containing five stanzas with the main words starting with the same letter using a different letter for each stanza..
No collabs

New poems only

One poem per person

Any genre

It HAS to be five stanzas with a different letter used for all of the main words in each stanza.

Here is one I wrote that you can use as an example...

Have fun, look forward to reading the entries.

Just My Imagination.

         Smolder sensuously slow
sizzling sensations slide off skin
                  scorching the senses
smooth silk straddles stiffening sinew
                stimulating sensuality

Passionate persuasion probes
        pretty petal provocation
plunging into private pleasure
      a plush and pleasing poke
     penetrating a peachy pocket

Melting motion manifests moans
                  in mutual moisture
mixing mesmerizing moments
             into memorable magic
marking my mind in your musk

        Feisty fascination fucks in
frisky feeling fornication
of frontal frenetic fleshy fantasy
flowery flowing fluid
feeds your fingers that freely fill me

Imagination imparts impulsiveness
inflating ink impressions of imagery
         in intense intoxicating intimacy
invoking incubus invitations
all insistent illusions not interpersonal

AWOKE by mikimoondancer

Awareness set in like the whistle had blown
Attempts to remain sleeping were futile
at best
Adoration of the liars got up and fled

Where does one turn
when the truth is exposed
Why divulge that the nightmare is'nt a hoax
What is the point
When you're preaching to ghosts...

Often, I think
Others are up too, but
Other times I'm convinced
Overzealous is what they are
Over the rainbow yet far from the star

Keeping my head high
Kicking off the fraud
Kneel down - I won't
Knowing what they're not
Kindred-I tell you
Keep from getting lost!

Easy, it won't be
Exposing the matrix
Especially while the media
escort and still elate us
Elementary indeed, say the optimistic types
Evil is a seed and it's sprouting inside
Everything!!!

having just learned that the above style did not meet comp criteria...here is my new submission..hopefully done right? LOL

You need the H to See  High  by mikimoondancer

Here, helplessly holding happy hours
Having hopes hop haplessly-
Hellbent and headed home
High hopes...

Inspiration ignited
in innocuous intermissions
Invoking intensity into
intensive
Immediately, i'm insensitive

Getting going
giving in
gallantly galloping...
graciousness gone-
Granted!

Sinking, soaring, sailing
saliently seeing,
seeking satiation
Selfless sedation
So?

Thinking tangible thoughts
thoughtlessly
Tangled tenaciously
Tempting theories to
turn truthful
Today...today
Tides turn to trepidation
Tying time to terrifying
Trying to tick the tock
Turns tiring...

Thank you for starting the comp off Miki, a great poem, just one problem.

I am looking for all of the main words in each stanza to start with the same letter (as in my poem) not just the first word in each line.  Another great way to write though.

Let’s Obliterate Vain Excessive Tantrums
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5B1uLa-wuao/UFW7VSOOevI/AAAAAAAAAco/UW4MMpv1jVI/s1600/broken-love-larysa-luciw.jpg

Landlocked lovers lauded their luck
largely living listless in lands,
they languor in lassitude,
laughter likely lost.

Oblivious to obtuse obligations,
they offer offbeat
occult-oracles to Oedipus,
one-to-one oddities, their ode.

Vacillating in Victorian-violet visions,
their victories vaporized  into vainglory,
becoming vexed
vibrational vanities.

Enough emptiness eluded
their expectations,
erupting,
eradicating their escape,
everyone eschewed embers.

Time tests tenuous tactics,
tarnishing themselves to truth,
tantamount to tantrums,
they remain totally tainted.

T.W.E.R.P .

T here's titheads
thousands through
the towns
they're a total test
to throwing in the towel .

Wankers wasting welfare
whilst workers wonder
why ? what ? where ?

E limination , extermination
exact extinction
evoking an elation

R eported robberies
are rife ,rapings too
right's receding
rarely do they rue

People probably ponder this ?
that progression's
in puddles
of pulled
out piss .

Great poem Diddi, it just doesn't follow the right criteria.
