If my mind was a room,
It'd be painted red
From the wrists that I cut,
And the blood that I'd shed

It'd be empty,
except for one thing
The only memory
I allow myself to bring

The bottle that night
That had taken your place
You never once thought of me
What I might face

The bottle that sits
In the middle of this room
The one that took your life
And could end mine too

My favorite is number four, but they are all very good. I would definitely want to visit your room. :)

Firedaughter, my room would be quite similar. Very good piece.

Much grey matter, and ladders for cleaning gutters, also a magnum for those many moments.

Mine would be a quirky pocket watch... and if I can manage it, I may well turn that concept into a poem. Idk how yet...

oh... it says room, not object... in that case, my mind would be an attic...

can it be either a room or an object?

Think along the lines of that your mind is a room. What would be the things that inhabited the room that make you who you are today based on memories, experiences, etc.

If my mind was a room
it would be an endless expanse
of scary white
with seeping
reverberating distant drone
an interference with
the sickening lull
Not to forget the
white clouds
rather constellations
of a million ghosts
trapped in the frozen
dunes of the bygone
Every once in while
there would be duststorms
prolonged and ominous
by the end of which
the midair detrius
of war would make
visibility
a tale of pathos
which would only
add to it
(Ironic)

Through My Eyes and Up

Through my eyes and up
is my mind.

In my mind is a room,
unfathomable.

There are four walls inside
no windows or doors,
plain white headache walls.

On one wall is a mirror.
When I stand before it I see
memories, of tears and blood
of love.

On the opposite wall is a picture
of a distorted landscape I've never seen.

Through my eyes and up
is my mind.

In my mind is a room.
A room of a past and hope.

My room is full of broken glass,
Reflections of a shattered past.
Dreams drift softly near the floor,
Trampled as they walked out the door.

I framed the moments I wished to recall
And hung them frozen on the wall.
If you listen, you'll hear before long
A very softlovelysadangry song.

A box in which I placed my heart
When the packaging was torn apart.
Made of glass, you can see not touch.
Trust is something I don't indulge in much.

A large bed set at center stage.
The object of my pain and rage.
They come to this room to worship here.
While my body performed, my soul floated near.

I've added locks so I may hide
All this mess I have inside.
Too anxious and lonely, I still open too soon.
I must find someone worthy to share in my room.

In the corner of my mind
There is a chair you would find
That is where you used to sit
And now you roam all over it
You have naughtified my mental bed
Your birthday suit is the wallpaper inside my head
And all my thoughts are scented with your kiss
Never before have I felt Love like this....
