Poetry Contest Description
everyone has had that one shirt, or shoes, or hat, or pants that they couldn't part with.
The goal for this, besides me being bored today;) is to write about it.
Sad, happy, cracked up, messed up, rememberance. Anything goes:)

Write about that article of clothing you couldnt part with (blankets and toys are exceptable)
Rules:
2 poems per person
Nothing over 100 words
Ex:
My pants are long and always have been,
They've been here quite a while.
These blue pants have seen me grow,
Though they never fit like so.
They've seen me fall,
And watched me climb,
heck, I wore them at those times.
My awsome pants will never leave,
Sadly there is a hole on the knee,
And a rip in the butt-
Kiss my pants, some lasting good luck.
Because they still don't fit...

A Quick Tale of My Candies
My 4”

Candies
Pumps
have been on my feet
thrown across the floor
lost under my bed
hidden in my closet
I’ve sold them once
and bought them back twice (no lie!)
Yup, I’m a sucker for bargains of a steal
a sucker for pencil stick heels
a sucker for flashy pumps
and that pretty much sums it up!

THE WEDDING GOWN
This wedding gown
Has been in the family
Handed down through generations
It is a lucky dress
For she who marries wearing
This bridal giant
Ends up wearing the pants!

the first you gave me
I couldn't bare to give up
I still have it you see
I keep it on my bed

that Teddy bear means everything
Even to this day..
Though you are gone
Your memory is still in my head
Reminded by they toy
That lays on my bed

Bookbag, I love ya much...
So I have this bookbag, you see...
It has many colors,
Blue, Yellow, Pink, Red, and Green,
I tried another but I don't want any others,
When I was younger people envied me,
For my bookbag had them in awe,
Leaving them alone to be,
And left whoever breathless when they saw,
It was filled with action scenes,
Of them verus strangers,
Because no one can ever beat,
The Amazing Power Rangers!
So I have this bookbag, you see...

and when your button broke I mended you
And when I got home, I pretended to;

All the while in my tight fitting pants,
you faded slow and started shrinking,
the dryer made you that much more clingy
But I washed you in salt to keep in the dye,
and as you got old dried you by the fire
Black skinnies you really did fit me,
You're the warmest things I ever wore,
And I'm wearing you still, not a tear or a pull
Cos it's cold and it's you I'll restore
