This is what I used to sing to my kids...it might be cheesy but I can be that way with them
To the tune Jesus love you, of course

Mommy Loves You

Mommy loves you this I know
For my heart tells me so
Little one from me you came
And I'll never be the same

Yes, Mommy loves you
Yes, Mommy loves you
Yes, Mommy loves you

For my heart tells me so

Happy

Watching my babies
play in the sun
that to me
is what I call fun ,
hearing note laughter
of unrelent ,
smiles captured
on camera
a golden heaven sent ,
handing them a gift
of , from the heart felt ,
to watch their faces lift
and smile in merriment .

Jewelled sky ruby
a precious above ,
I have happy with me
everyday with their love .

Take all I own ,
take everything
the car , the home
even my my six string .

I don't care
as I have happy ,
I breathe diamonds for air
as my kids stay with me .

sweet songs of the after life
Sing you to sleep my sweet life
If there were a way
You you all be here today
Life is short so do not weep
Rest my angel and go to sleep
You are my life and i love you for that so sleep
Rest your eyes for a moment and do sleep
I love you my angle so sleep

The Giggle Angel

Three angels came last night
and sat upon my window sill
one of them giggled,
the other two sat very still.

I watched as they sat there,
their eyes very bright
everything was peaceful,
everything was right.

I fell into a deep sleep,
the best I've ever known,
while the angels kept their vigil
and the stars brightly shown.

Then as the moon dipped low
and the dawn began to peek,
I lay wrapped in slumber,
my eyes filled with sleep.

The angels grew anxious,
their job here was done
and so they all took flight
from my sill, one by one.

Not a word was said
as they vanished from sight
except the little one who giggled
and said, "see you tonight!"

Ok I tend to sing to my baby sister frome time to time i put together a poem from the top of my head and sing it.^^ it comes out sounding nice depending on the way you sing it

Let them sleep let them be
in time you can see
the river keeps flowing
that you know so
goodnight
rest your eyes
just to see those stary  skies
for one that you know you dont have to cry
just keep thinking of your stary skies

Turn down the dimmer,
kiss like you mean it,
sing me to sleep.
It's been an awful, long day.

Here in the quiet
love me 'til tomorrow
until then
sing me to sleep.

Sing me to sleep
when we've finished the painting
and we are all done with the thrills
of the day.

Hold me tightly
so I'll never fade
sing me to sleep,
it's been an awful, long day.

Lay calm and still,
Absorb weariness,

Relax your mind,
Welcome loneliness,

Lull yourself to sleep,
The cousin of death!

There's something missing in my bed tonight
No arms just sheets to hold me tight
Alone I wait...
For dawn to break...
There's something missing in my bed tonight

Dream a dream of me tonight
Hold me close and grip me tight
And when you wake...
My hand you'll take...
Dream a dream of me tonight.

Sleep so sound and soft tonight
In the warmth of our love's firelight
I'll be home soon...
But not with the moon...
Sleep so sound and soft tonight.
