Nightmares in Nevada

"Nightmares in Nevada"

Can I escape nightmares in Nevada?
Screaming for any magik abracadabra
Snuck up behind me with subtle charms
Lying deeply within your sweltering arms

Your mouth equals smoldering passion
Nude bodies collide resistance crashing
Drunk on intoxicating mahogany orbs
Stoned in romance enslaved by thorns

Loneliness decays swallowed in sapphire
Charismatic disguise murdered my desire
Solitude wakens a raging wildfire off course
Severed vessel ruptured by centrifugal force

Buried beneath shadows settled in my core
Imprisoned by agony another closed door
Surrendered to love bleeding in cherry stain
Evening closes & permanent silence claims

Aborted life by love going down in flames
Dishonored violet heart Nevada is to blame
Danced beneath hanging sterling moonlight
Blooming underneath epilogue death sleight

You were the beat stalking body, mind & spirit
Lips carried destruction & Cupid can't repair it
Your taste lingers upon my memories forever
For eternity memorize this lonely cold cadaver

(The D.U.P Carnival: A Love-Twist Elegy)

The salt-stung air, a velvet shroud descends,
A carnival of ghosts, where longing bends.
Alexander's grin, a moonlit, fractured gleam,
"Last dance, dear hearts," a fevered, whispered dream.

No gentle waltz, but tango, raw and deep,
Where shadows writhe, and secrets sleep.
A love like rust, a crimson, jagged stain,
Narcissus' gaze, reflecting back the pain.
Erotic whispers, with bitter wine,

A stalker's breath, a twisted, dark design.
The Dup decks groan, a titan's final sigh,
As love's mad current drags us to the sky.
Rose's phantom lace, a spectral, frozen tear,
Jack's ghostly hand, a memory held so dear.
"Paint me, love," a whisper from the deep,
Where ocean's heart, a broken promise keep.
The ballroom spins, a vortex, wild and free,
A drug-fucked haze, where truth and madness flee.

Comedy's mask, a hollow lie,
As jealousy's green flames begin to fly.
The riviera's lights, a distant, fading spark,
While shadows dance, within the ship's dark ark.
A sudden lurch, the ocean's hungry maw,
Dup's last gasp, defying nature's law.
The ballroom tilts, a chaos, stark and grand,
As lovers cling, upon this sinking sand.

But wait! A figure, cloaked in midnight blue,
A velvet voice, "My dears, I'm here for you."
It's Edgar Allan Poe, with raven on his arm,
"A final tale," he whispers, "to disarm."
He lifts a glass, of absinthe, dark and green,
"To broken hearts, and scenes yet unseen."
The ocean roars, a symphony of dread,
As love's last echo, whispers from the dead.

"The Kraken's Kiss: A Pirate's Love Song"

The plank creaks low, a shadow's hungry maw,
As Captain Lovebird, with a gilded claw,
Demands a verse, where heart and horror twine,
A love-sick ballad, steeped in rum and brine.

No gentle swain, with roses 'neath his arm,
But gnarled corsairs, where dark desires swarm.
One-eyed Jack, with teeth of tarnished gold,
And Peg-Leg Pete, whose tales are fiercely told.
Their faces etched with storms and savage  nights,
Yet in their souls, a flickering love light ignites.

"Sing of the sea," they roar, with breath like gales,
"Where mermaids weep, and ghostly lovers wails!"

A love like kraken's grip, a fierce embrace,
Where barnacle-kissed lips find tender space.
A stolen glance, 'midst cannon's fiery breath,
A whispered vow, defying cruelest death.

The ocean churns, a canvas dark and vast,
As tales unfold, of passions built to last.
A siren's call, a haunting, sweet refrain,
Where love and madness dance in hurricane.
For even pirates, with their hearts of stone,
Yearn for a touch, a love they've never known.

But hear ye now, a twist within the tale,
A hidden heart, behind the fearsome veil.
For Captain Lovebird, with his Dior scent,
A secret longing, heaven-sent.
He seeks a love, beyond the pirate's creed,
A soul to mend, a heart to plant a seed.

A poet's tear, a verse that cuts the night,
Unveils a truth, in flickering candle light.
That even beasts, with scars and blackened eyes,
Hold fragile dreams, beneath the stormy skies.
And love, like treasure, buried deep and vast,
Can bloom anew, when pirate hearts are cast.
