Myrkur is described as a Danish black metal band led by singer Amalie Bruun. Myrkur is a solo project within the genre of second-wave black metal. Amalie has many expirimental and acoustic works too,

Mit onde barn jeg lytter til dig i nat
I turn off the day the storm hits
Jeg slukker dagen stormen tager fat
Hades whispers my name in the long night
Dødsriget hvisker mit navn i den lange nat
Together we walk in the shadow that disappeared
Samlet vi går i skyggen der forsvandt
The useless creatures fell
De nyttesløse skabninger faldt
They thirst for our pure blood

Shadowing blue falls darkening
a haunting night berieving
the maskless child
herein an evil
storm eyed
closure is comfort
wearing my demure cloth
underworldy union begins
whispers I follow
a presence is present
familiar stranger
thus falls creation
ours is a lineage
a trembling blood
by the foots tree
I become shapeless
a sanctum

I am remembering

isms breakneck black barbaric
chaos
dark
romanticized
the common institutional
extremes
of nations
factious
suicidal
genocidal
neo-Nazi
party
pals

Satan
transcendental
Christian
shit
medieval
paganistic
piss
high
vizard sly
and lizard serpentine
the high-speed tempo vocal shriek distorted
