There is the twelve days of Christmas. In some traditions there are 13.... YOURS is the 13th and it falls on a Friday

Love this, Ellie! You have encapsulated the true, well, if not true, but realistic feel of modern-day Xmas, Lol! Say, why don't we just march right on down to Tesco & buy our 'Tesco Value' Christmas Jumpers? I'm so damn tempted, I tell ya!

Ha ha, thanks! I wanted the rhythm and sound of the original, with a realistic and vaguely nightmarish twist.

Also... I REFUSE to wear a Christmas jumper, ever. I hate stupid made-up 'traditions'. We have Advent calendars and will buy a tree and decorate. I won't wear Christmas clothing, waste money on Christmas Eve boxes or faff about with elves on shelves!!
