Leftovers

They were only half dead,
infected by bark beetles.
Together they gathered
like zombies,
a riverside cluster
torn and dismembered
shuffled to a random array.

Each day someone walks past
they ignore the un-miraculous,
avoid the dark exterior
no one wants to be bitten.

I need the bite
offering a throat
to be ripped out
I embrace the group,
take my place
but all I find is their grace
as we feed on the last supper.

no woman has a right to choose

"when that I was and a little tiny boy, with hey, ho, the wind and the rain, a foolish thing was but a toy, for the rain it raineth every day--along with the birth defects, the deadly diseases, the natural disasters, the human abuses, the losses, the dyings, and the deaths."
--the former little tiny boy the current adult of Reality

*   *   *

no girl has any right to breed or not
her having not an egg's permission got
to born be in a world of wind and rain
as well as yet a sh*tload full of Pain

*   *   *

a dedication of Respect
for
the Rationally Ethical antinatalist,
striving for today's unborn blastulas
to Prevent each from experiencing all future windy hurricanes and rainy floods unnecessarily

a helios rhyme
june 25, 2022--full rejoicing, each pro-lifer
necessarily pro future birth defects, pro future deadly diseases, pro future natural disasters, pro future human abuses, pro future losses, pro future dyings, and pro future deaths
of the yet unborn fetuses--
since you can't have life without the horrors

it's a child, not a choice

"the ruling majority of christians hold each power to account--save their own."
--a Rationally Ethical antinatalist, merely one among the minorities yet powerless

*   *   *

each ovum-loving christian's public voice
but to adopt a newborn has no choice

*   *   *

a dedication of Respect
for
the unborn egg
ultimately fertilized and birthed without its consent,
as well as without a risk-free guarantee,
into a world of countless horrors--
some even unimaginable

a helios couplet
june 25, 2022--currently millions of children unwanted
(in addition to millions orphaned)
still not being adopted by billions of christians all loving
in the glorious name of their sugar-daddy "god"--
whatever the word "god" could possibly mean

A letter to suicide

You crave souls because you're greedy,

You take souls because you're needy.

You claim to be starving,

So you sit and watch as people grab their razors and start carving.

You are nothing more than a cowardly fool,

Watching the innocent souls seeking death makes you drool.

You sit and wait for the the mental pain to get out of control,

When souls leave their bodies you swallow them whole.

Some feel you are an escape but you are no Friend,

You'll never be a helping hand.

You are like a loaded gun shooting bullets through the air,

All the lifeless bodies hit the floor and you just sit and stare.

You're a theif,

You laugh at the family tree as you steal another leaf.

You also steal time from their life clock,

This is murder but in this case the bodies wont be outlined with chalk.

All I can do is pray that you fail over and over again.

Knowing you is like dragging around a ball and chain.

This has taken me a few days, because I was so torn!  I really loved them all, and they definitely made me think.  The prize winner and runners-up were chosen because they managed to turn some kind of image on its head and really make me see things in a different way.  It was an incredibly difficult decision!  I will endeavour to leave everyone a nice bit of feedback soon.
