Hello Green_Arrow. Unfortunately the criteria states no pump n’ dump erotica. Please can you amend your entry. Thank you.

Hello. I am afraid I don’t have the power to delete it. You are able to remove the post by editing it. If you wish to amend it I will still accept it as an entry.

Got rid of the second entry... but I'm still glad that accepted the first.

The first two verses are written as background to the 10 second action of the final verse. I have done some editing which I hope will make this clearer

Hello. It was a reminder to all, not aimed at you. It’s all good 🙂

Riding Trains in NYC

Sidewalks and subways, stank
with piss and sweat
but your smile is burned
in my soul, forever.

I was alive, for once
that day
on the crowded train
in your arms, between
jostling humanity.

And the realization came, that
this is what it feels like
to be loved.

I let down my walls, invited
you in, blissfully clueless
that our time together
would be shortened
like a sucker punch
when your heart would give out
a year later.

We lived a lifetime, in
those seconds.

First Glance Off The Plane In Florida

Couldn’t hardly sleep.
Anticipating the warm orange skies Florida has.
Left for you in the dark of night.
Only to appear in front of you just steps off the plane.
Palm trees blind my views.
No such regrets are going to exist.
Luggage burns and make our arms tired.
This is the type of pain I live and work for.
Standing eternity has passed me.
Never will I forget such a time.
Music soaks in the moments in this new place.
I’ll be there again.

With A Hungry Gaze Within Her Eyes

It happens to be on
this one late Sunday
morning in July that
Patrick got on an
elevator and pressed
the down button.

But that was before
a woman named
Zelma got into the
elevator just before
the doors closed.

And while she was
catching her breath,
Zelma looked at
Patrick with a hungry
gaze within her eyes.

That was before she
took off her top and
flashed her uncovered
chest only to have her
ask, "Is this your floor?"

That made Patrick snap
out of it and say to a
fully clothed Zelma, "Yes,
it is. Thanks.", before he
quickly got himself out
of the elevator and left
her wanting to let out a
small giggle as a result
of his embarrassment.
