Dreamer, introverted, trusting, foolish
daughter of sorrow
Lover of justice, puppies, reading, and blazing sunsets
Upset when people insult the less fortunate, happy when someone’s happy, scared of height
Who needs her tab for her travelling library
Gets hurt easily, believes kind people, often misplaced her trust
Fears strange voices in the night, howls of dogs at twilight and shaman’s chants
Wants to see everyone treated equal, loved and healthy and prosperous
Resident of a Village Far far away

Rubik’s Cube
I’m no introspective individual
Others know me better
But if I were to chalk it up
To a phrase or defining thing
I would say, I’m like a Rubik’s cube
Small, compact, dotted with color
Some cubes add up to the solver
Other squares pose much harder
And just when you think it’s completed
I surprise you with another

But also discovered how to channel emotions into poems

Of my autistic traits
They over shadow the reality
Served my country in the armed forces
Currently work for National Health Service
If I had been diagnosed in early life
Would never have done anything
