For A Moment, Layered In 24K Gold
Determined and rugged is the great city Beyond it's gates, stand ancient conifers dusted, with lichen glistening , as if layered in 24 karat gold.
Welcomed in by an opening in the canopy i advance, into a colored blur of light mixing with shades of sepia.
Shadows from the city create an image, of the mighty metropolis.
Hot iron and hard steel cast onto curved ivory towers
A breathtaking replica of independece and strength in equal submission.
Stickiness coats the worn path ahead, where honeysuckle wraps itself around eucalyptus, the blending aroma of all that is good, and all that is lovely,
marks an impression into the back of your mind
Embedded deep within the woods,
water from the creek trickles, between pink sandstone cliffs, enticing the warm sounds of forward motion that iinvade like a stimulus, spilling down onto maidenshair fern,
It rises, eager to receive its portion and more more.
I watch in shyness as her fronds unfurl.
Dew drips from her delicateness onto wild orchid below.
The exotic hues in shades of fuschia explode pulling me, transforming me.
I linger awhile, before eventually, slipping away back to the city

The dragon lady
What endeavor
To fallen the silkened robe
And gently
She curls and shifts
To the floor
Lies a soft red mass
The tasseled wild
And wants to be pulled
Belted around modesty
And rounded hues
Peaches and pinks
And blue stare penetrates
An awakened and vulnerable state
No wallow
Or crippled virtue
But willingness
Joins red satiny melt
Again to the floor
Again to the floor
Submission grants
A posture
Bend and huff
Grip and strong arching
He implements bite
And wolfies snarl

Will find her tassel
Removed to ever
Be tugged again
And the delicate green dragon
