Praise be and Hail

Praise be and Hail
Upon the warships of The Imperial Navy,
May they shed the glorious light of the Emperor
by their arms and armaments
Blessed be they who serve the fleets
Within the hulls blessed by the Mechanicum.
For Faith is the Shield
And the shields will hold within and without
And may the ship endure
Even if the crew wither and die
For the duty of the fleets is eternal
And they will do their duty even in the death-throes
To ensures Humanity’s right to the galaxy
As this is the Emperor’s Will
to which the Imperial Navy shall see enacted
and die in action if His divine sight sees it fit.
Praise be and Hail
And may their wroth and worth
Be a just testament to the Emperor
Wherever they shall sail
They shall never fail
For this is the Emperor's Will.

[ NaPo 2020 ] In So Many Words

IV.

Since perception is key
to understanding
allowing you to see things

differently through key-
holes ( in logic, especially
demanding a price paid in tolls
while in God we trust
as all others pay cash )

please let me clarify—

when I do say

"God"

I am
saying the same
as Jane Roberts and Seth,
Esther Hicks and Abraham,
and most certainly
a host of otherworldly others
I'm not
familiar with at present
when they say

"All That Is"

which obviously by its very name
one never can be at apart from
at any given moment to begin with

And yet

in so many words

you are always near and dear to God
until you choose not to be
lieve'n Him

white bread, spread to the edges

Its enough to startle us,
say it here

confiscated, put away,
reserved for a later date.
passages of time and eloquence, your darling love
embraced and remembered,
dispel the wanton wish
caught in time – polaroids
fermented in back of conscious library
floating in mighties gold effervescent overlay.
Prepare for the playground attendant
To be hunted and strained for his polite killing colander,
This small mind predicted this fate.
Sorry, no god today.

More to say…until death do us start.

Left behind..

I face the world in a wall of words or, so it seems at times
To think I choose how to see and how life should be
What facet of face is laid in ink to dry..
What lines make a page, the steps that I lay along the way
All paths lead home, familiar sights, familiar sounds, familiar words, familiar
Familiar but echoed in a different role, their toll..
In certain light the trunks of trees are unhewn staves to mark the way
I face the world in a prism of a prison or so it seems at times..
The jury of my days, the sentence of my ways, the sentence that I lay
Does the sentiment of clouds portray the presence of mind
Some days are just hard to find and are best, left behind..

A View Like No Other
360 degrees of mountains
Wind blowing through the open windows
Bird chirping from every direction
Nothing but rolling mountains
Some small, others huge
Some pointed, others round

I stand atop this fire tower
Completely alone
I do not feel lonely
I have the world right here with me
Savoring this moment a little longer
Before I must leave
Breathing in the cool spring air
Finally feeling like everything will be okay

All I Asked

And when I fell in love
What did I ask of the world?
Everything and anything within my grasp
I swore I’d try
To get her the sun, the moon and stars
I vowed to climb the highest mountains
And drink the oceans dry

Emotions ran fast and high
I screamed loud amidst a crowd
But nobody heard
Yet between stolen kisses and glances
I knew she felt the same way too
We just didn’t say the words

I’m sorry I didn’t wait

The days of our youth are gone
But when I look in the broken mirror
The scenes are still there
Bittersweet memory
What we shared was beautiful
Until the day I disappeared

Bottle it Up? or Explode?

I read it over six times,
And just when I think I've gotten it right,
Higher, and higher, my shame, embarrassment, and rage, climes,
For I have yet to get it right.
I keep messing things up,
Making myself look incompetent and unintelligent,
Something's up,
That better not be all that I am, these failures better not be persistent,
For tension is already on the rise,
I don't know how much more of this I can take,
Every single action judged, I see it in their eyes,
I know there's more to me than each minor mistake,
Just, nobody sees it.
Nobody sees the good, and the competent things I do,
Because I'm not out there, bragging about it,
I'm not showing off, though I am proud when something I do
Is successful.
My heart and soul, are being torn asunder,
By the dark, negative, subconscious energy of society, cruel,
Which away, I can no longer filter.
I feel as if I live in a bedlam,
As a beldam,
Without most of the frames of reference
That nowadays are quintessence.
I am torn betwixt telling the truth and asking forgiveness, risking looking like a knave and a buffoon,
Or holding it all in, and exploding soon.

“THE MASTER”
dedicated to truthers and cultists everywhere

He had multiple wives.
He had my parents and their friends.
They bought him an island
And a whole lot of dope.

He had shining nuggets of truth
Wrapped in beautiful garbage
Which sold off the shelves because
Seekers can overdose on humility.

Maybe after all those journeys
Where you learned you were nothing,
All you wanted was to feel
You were in on the joke.

He was a rapist
And a madman.
My first poems
Glorified him.

Signing Contracts

Forty days and the same nights
is enough to tempt the slight
those who wish for power’s bane
seeking worlds as their claim

the pinnacle offers a view
municipalities that may be ruled
all available at Satan’s whim
if worship then self-condemns

this hypocrisy matters not
for those who strive against the clock
accepting deals to rule the earth
the outcome drives demonic mirth

chortled echoes damn the souls
with their leader in control
signing contracts with Lucifer
without regard for hereafter.

[ NapoWriMo 2020 Collection ] Survival

Qinghai,Tibetan Plateau
Guliya Ice Cap, 12,979 BC

Part I - Existence

[ . . . ]

iii
Statuesque—
the majestic yak inhaled the air;
his nostrils flaring from each scent:
death, dysentery, vulture, blood—
and something else. . .

Edging the Garuda Valley
the bovid native blended
with dampened boughs
of its forested gorge; fatigued
from infection, its death walk
all but complete. . .

A snap startled his measured path—
one of the Denisovan's emerged
from the treeline in a cooperative ambush;
the yak lunged sideways, escaping
into the sharp tip of a spear
before calving from strength

Its yellow eyes spread wide—
dark pupil absorbing three giant masses;
then, glassing grey, became static
exhaling its final breath—
body fluid, blood, and diarrhea
spreading carmine from its carcass
. . .

The Every Day: Rectitude, Undone

I stood in this spot
three weeks ago, as
the last vestige
of winter blew its cool
breath on a
fevered land.
Tulip leaves crested,
quietly waiting for
her Eastern sun
to rise with
warm kisses.
A lacy ice fraise
blanketed the edges around
a vibrant green dais, sheltered
beneath lumbering
pine.

My tracks were deep
depressions, marring the pristine
landscape. I yearned
to paint a portrait with
my words; but the
need to
be encased by its
beauty became a blight upon
the subject.

Utter ruin.

PPE's

Makes accessible vulnerability
Anonymity bred audaciousness
Smiles, grimaces,  frowns by words conveyed
Kaleidoscope  of sensations, feelings, emotions, eyes manifest

Give helping hands more utility
Leave to love thy neighbor by labor
Overcome anxiety of human touch, life saving interaction
Valuable shield from disease and hurt
Equalize compassionate service capacity
Skin kept supple, safe, and lovers sanguine

Becoming Words (II)

And so the words learned everything I know;
they learned how to dance with their eyes closed
in the midst of no music
in an empty white room.
They exploded, imploded,
they no longer had form.
They melted like wax to be reformed
They became molten experience
interacting randomly, amplifying
each other, becoming a shout
resonating with utter void.
So many of them formed to fill it
that it became unlocked and opened
and the words flew out
flinging themselves aloft like
spores in the wind.

scribble #04:  odessa’s sweet refrain’ll bloom again

new quatrains
make april blooms at night
scented by candlelight
sweet late eve primrose, datura,
night phlox, brugsmansia
avril rains
that tall tales tell of spring
the Father's grace to bring
still wait i for the last wet train
odessa's sweet refrain'll
bloom again

spring equinox brings pink red blooms
new pregnancies fill heavn’s lithe wombs

Questions Interrupt

Whispers sinister rumblings
Plague , corrupt this mind
Nightmare remain the same
Constant reminders
Of my fragile state

Burning questions interrupt
Answers never forthcoming
Error messages beeping
Head ready to explode
Boom bang crash

Creative thinker
Who loves the written word
But can’t express verbally
The feelings that exist
Between heart and soul
