To my fellow women, I've a question to ask: What would you do if you woke up and every man disappeared? Would you be sad or overjoyed? How would politics change? What would you like to happen in a female dominated society?

Patchouli clouds arising
To elevate their own despair
From suffering to surviving
Hands find flesh
And mighty knead
What familiar places they both concede
Lascivious giggles bubble up
Where for art thou man?

Superwoman of the Paddy Fields
She wipes her brow
she ties her hair
long upon her shoulder
she dares the sun
to turn her brown
as she works the land
for her sons
five in all
and their education
she tends the field
caresses cold soil
coaxes the rice plant to grow
praying for good harvest
hoping for surplus
so she could sell
to buy them schooling
so her boys will have
a better future
the dusk of day
she shepherds her boys
to the creek to bath
and home where sky
peeks through the roof
soil looks up from below
dinner she serves with love
handful of rice for each
a piece of fish on empty plates
at night she softly sings
a lullaby to make them sleep
her beloved boys
off spring of love
from a man now gone
to glory where no bullet flies
from terrorists’ guns
no hatred from vigilantes
no tears of hunger
dawn greets her with brightness
never tire she set fish traps
pound the rice for her boys
wash their tattered clothes
repair the roof of the house
set the buffalo off to graze
harvest the paddy from the field
at night her beloved boys
listen to her lullaby.

goddesses before gods
In my opinion, our male dominated society has led our entire civilization astray with untruths? Goddesses were first created in an effort to explain our very existence and are an extension of our own psyche. They were invented by females of millennias ago before any gods were ever created.
As males began to realize their part in the creation of babies, they began creating gods in an effort to exert brute force over women and to curtail the female's active role as creator's of philosophical thought and understanding.
Females are the sustenance of life. The very first goddess named "Venus of Willendorf" looks nothing like the way men would have us think with slim waists, no-bellies and shapely legs and thighs. Males created a Venus to their own "modern-day" liking. Another effort to control and diminsh women in order to put themselves on a pedestal of ego-driven philosophic untruths and lies that eventually have led to the now near-destruction of life on earth as we know it.
Barbara G. Walker is a well known author and has done extensive research in her efforts to enlighten women and the world to the real truth behind our male-dominated society. She points out that the "ego-controlled" philosophy is reeking havoc, causing wars, the life-threatening crisis of earth's trauma and a myriad of other destructive and deceptive behavior that has been spewed upon humanity by men who simply use brute force to implement an entire library of lies and deceptions in their efforts to be in control.

calamitygi: I don't think they make 40 volt at least for everyday, build and house rehab, all the other shit that freaking has to be done. And, yes. I am sick to death of doing shit by myself. I haven't had a man in my home for years who did much of anything in the home. I do man work and woman work. I am damned workhorse.
