Play it on your lips

Wear a smile on your face,
Wear a smile all day,
For nothing you wear looks lovely without it
Smile away the day,
and watch the effect
you pass around
It might just cheer up the not
so gay
and happiness may well
abound.
And don't you look your best
when you do smile
No wonder you're asked to say
'cheese' for a photo
but the trick is to wear it all
the while
'To smile without distinction'
be thy motto.:)
When someone creases their
forehead into a frown
You curve your lips upward
into a smile
Don't let their scowl get you
down
They'd be the one to look the
clown
while you show off your
inspiring style.
If people stare 'n' glare at you
Return their glares and stares
with a grinning smile
Keep smiling whether they boo
or pooh pooh
They might just reset their
mental file.
Thus forever flash your
pearlywhites
They aren't meant merely for
chow and bites.
Flash em' into a smile that
lights
A crescent shaped smiley on
the face
explore your own facial
expression delights.:)
A smile is a sign of happiness right under your nose
Smile warmly like the sunshine, like the crescent moon
Even when the icy cold wind of discourtesy blows

Find the Light

Find a way to the light, my friend, †
Break through the husk of pain. † † †
Coming out of this cave of shadows, †
I † †
After the drought... here comes the rain. † † †
†† † †
Tribes of red, crying tears of oil, † † †
Prayer flags torn from the wind, † † †
Black, blue, green, gold, all lives matter, friend, † † What left hand giveth - Right rescinds. † † † †
† † † †
Plastic seas...
Feed silicone trees, † † †
Abandon flesh
For circuitries. † † †
We can not breathe
without these leaves, † † † †
Focused on boiling
while we, headlong,
freeze. † † †
† † † †
Slash and burn the (A)mazon, † † †
Apple Inc keeps the Dr's in pay, † † †
Behind the scenes the Skeksis plot, † † †
The blind lead you astray! † † †
† † † †
You cannot take your coins with you, † † †
The banks, they own your soul. † † †
When Mother's nothing left to give, † † †
You cannot eat Fool's Gold.

Upon the wind

Verse 1
Some upon the wind they float
Propellers spinning down to earth
The sycamore that scatters seeds all round about
Conceved a sapling just like that

Verse 2
That spirits flight
And not see its shortened days
That autumn times, the equinox
The fall from grace of gloried summers splay

Chorus †1
Piles of trunks in the logging truck
Stripped the bark, gone the woodpeckers hutch
Fortunes made by root and branch
They that felled the statuesque
Raise till just the roots protrude
Nothing left where the forest stood
The rape the green man always feels
Just commerce and its growing fields

Verse 3
Who will quell the fires hold
Rain forest feels the draught of cold
Where longevity for the planets breath
The †torch will choke us all to death
And CO2 will kill as was foretold

Verse 4
For yonder lies that chasm of uncertanty
Our heads stuck in the sands of apathy
We were the one and only enemy
And nature lives by not word but deed
For now ours to suffer. just the same as she

 Chourus 2
Piles of trunks in the logging truck
Stripped bark, gone the woodpeckers hutch
Fortunes made by root and branch
Cut and run and leave just barren ground
Raise till just the roots protrude
Nothing left where the forest stood
The rape the green man always feels
The seeds we sow of selfish deeds

Verse 5
Now the time to hug that tree
Revel in its canopy
Its heart rings always multiply
Its sap of wisdom never dry

Repeat from start

Seed

Will you fly when the time has come,
Do you hear in the canyon, drums?
Deep and throbbing the heart of Earth,
Gives you life as you rise from birth.

Feel the pain where youíre coming from.
Will you fly when the time has come?
Be the seed as it seeks the light,
You will know when the time is right.

Of the blue world thatís drying fast,
Find the storm where the rainbows last.
Will you fly when the time has come,
On the wind, what will you become?

All you hope is to hear the sound
Of a love pulsing all around.
Be the seed that feeds everyone.
Will you fly when the time has come?

What Have We Done?

Iím dying of thirst but I cannot drink,
The waters are poisoned,
What have we done?
Iím famished but canít eat,
The fruit is all spoiled,
Burned under the sun,
Oh what have we done?

The landscapes once green,
Are all now but a dream,
They have disappeared,
By the industrial machine.

The beautiful clear skies,
That once graced my eyes,
Are cold, dark and grey,
The blue has gone away.

The oceans arenít clean,
All of its life now it seems,
Has left and vanished,
Never to be seen.

Iím dying of thirst but I cannot drink,
The waters are poisoned,
What have we done?
Iím famished but canít eat,
The fruit is all spoiled,
Burned under the sun,
Oh what have we done?

The forests have burned,
Turned to ash and to dust,
And all the animals,
Scorched into the crust.

The mountains are gone,
They become wastelands,
And even the deserts,
Are now barren badlands,

The valleys now smoke,
With a hiss to the sky,
Itís seems like a nightmare,
Enough to make me cry.

Iím dying of thirst but I cannot drink
The waters are poisoned,
What have we done?
Iím famished but canít eat,
The fruit is all spoiled,
Burned under the sun,
Oh what have we done?

But I found a seed,
Like hope that we need,
And so I pray to Mother,
To hear my plead,

Iím searching for water,
The wells are bone dry,
Still I have my faith,
Not all has gone awry.

And maybe my tears,
Will wet the earth,
And the seed will grow,
With hope for rebirth.

Iím dying of thirst but I cannot drink
The waters are poisoned,
What have we done?
Iím famished but canít eat,
The fruit is all spoiled,
Burned under the sun,
But now a seed is planted
And hope has begun.
