CANVAS OF A MASTERPIECE

Through the very dimensions of space and time the eyes always saw beauty in everything that the eyes vision and seen but there isn't nothing more very beautiful then seeing what is a masterpiece, as it pulls you deep within the depth and deepness of your mind and heart and soul for the anticipation from start to finish is more than a unbound mystery giving you glimpses of perfection teasing your inner senses.

For let me put this in its proper perspective as I manipulate the very deepness of your thoughts transcending you to a fantasies of pure imagination for the most beautiful creation, known to MAN is a WOMAN for she is art at its finest made in different shapes and forms and sizes from her hair to her eyes to her lips and cheeks, to her shapely hips to her legs and beautiful thighs to her feet and toes her hands and finger tips each a beauty in its own right.

For a woman will seduce you with her mind overwhelming each segment of your inner thoughts for even her aroma will massage your sense of smell teasing you, with a viciousness shredding you hopelessly craving her desire with pure ecstasy beyond belief for to see the beauty you must first open your eyes to see a real canvas of a masterpiece.

The gentler gender for gentlemen . (For contest)

[font=Arial]

I'm proud of belonging to the female race,
To hail from the fair sex
To be a part of womanhood , earthly sisterhood
Not only because I have far less hairy
Smoother, softer fairer pinker skin
than the gents and men
But also because it is only
Our womb that cradles the unborn human
That's why we are the cradle of civilisation and humanity.
And our womanly lap that ensures the survival of the human race
Our motherly lap is said to be a child's first university.
I don't even mind being referred to as the weaker sex
For I connote it to refer to how we are a delicate delicacy
Upon which our men ravish and feast upon
Wherein also lies part of our powers ironically.
I mean I have read of kings who gave up thrones
Just so they can feast their enamoured eyes upon and love a woman!

The chauvinistic world of men has tried to sideline us
Yet powerful women have risen and shone in all ages nevertheless.
Thank you God for creating the mother of all humanity, our first mother, Eve.
Long live womanhood, be proud of your gender.
Let's change the male dominated masculine mindset of this world
And make it more women friendly and feminine.
Men are referred to as gentlemen in English,
yet that can be paradoxically harsh in reality
For more women are gentler ironically .

A woman is flower power
That can shake the world with her delicate petals
As her softer voice has learnt
to pierce, melt and mould his fierce metals
of masculine armours of physical strength
Without employing swords or guns.

A woman is divine art admired by her admirers
A vital divine creation that creates and nurtures
because the Creator has entrusted her with that magnificent role.

( comments are fine but I don't invite them for such contest entries)

Little Bits of Life:  Goddess in White Roses

Perhaps it’s better, not
to be able to see into the future.

Too surreal, it would have been, seeing
your coffin wheeled down the center aisle, standing
room only in the church.

We draped you in white roses, a testament
to the healer you were—
nurse, yet wife, mother, daughter, friend, and
they were the color of your clothing
in the dream, where you now live.

They spoke in Latin as the incense bell waved its scent
across the aisles, and ah, this life—
its little bits, that added up to now.

There is far more godliness in the everyday
than in glitz on pedestals, and
no deities real or fake
could’ve put up with the shit you did
at the end.

I shall bring the garden to you, in hallowed places
as I do, others, who have gone your way, and Godspeed—

Godspeed into hands that give, that create
as you gave, when we all fell apart, for
that is the measure of a goddess.

(a tribute to friend of 30 years, who was a "goddess" in many ways--until we meet again, M.B.

The Matriarch

Crowns with heads so full of curlers
scepter and orb a dustpan and brush
When things need to multi task
You cant ask a man to do all that

 Handbag full of mysteries
A selection of white lies
Not fall flat upon our face
But on your toes to rise

The apron strings tied to our heart
A nurcher bigger than Wall Mart
Indelible the will transforms
The roses and the thorns

Clasp the stems and bleed unseen
Be resolute and show no pain
Emotion deep within her grain
Of feminine, in that wake I sail

Glass ceilings try to hold them down
 Weinstein casting couch be banned
For Liberty that statue so regal
The matriarch of all womans ideals

Effigy there on the rock
Millions like birds to her flock
To hold up the torch
A beacon shine and not debauche

The thrones domains, incisive powers
Skirts and petticoats in whispers lowered
Sirens sing with a chant so mellow
Choreograph a spell to follow

Harbour all mankind to her breast
Larger than life, earths mothers embodiment
A womb of unborn solace
Raise on a pedestal,  surreal and still be commonplace

Crying angels around her feet
 Underpinning domesticity
Amazon that chariotess
St joan of ark up to that quest

Just flesh and blood be that fortresss

Vega’s Promise

How the stars are enchanting
On the moonless nights
I find my self captivated
By the endless show of lights

I dream of taking a timeless trip
Where stardust can be found
Across the river in a rocket ship
To meet my princess of the sky

As the seventh moon fades
The seventh night becomes alive
I’ll cross a heavenly bridge
For tonight our love will survive

Daughters Of Time

In endless vigil are watcher’s fair the maidens of eternity.
To keep now’s space between what once was and what has yet to be.
Forever’s children have not taken rest their guard has just begun.
Theirs is to stir wait’s solitude a god to nothing quickly done.
From beyond to beyond through the book of life they turn another page.
In time beats there pulse with every step marched across the age.
Know the future holds not a blessing or a curse upon the past.
Deny each their due and in its wake the first shall be the last.
When the elder’s lessons are forgotten through the lack of care.
Pain and burdens is the payment for later souls to bear.
Weaker wills who choose not to see what the future has in store.
Their prospects are an empty pit that yields precious little more.
Then there are the foolish ones who fear the here and now.
A squandered gift is there present this they’ll disavow.
When wish and hope are prayed upon they hold each other’s hand.
The past and present bleed into now so those seeking understand.
Sacred sisters of timeless beauty born from tranquility.
These graced goddesses ward the worlds of man’s reality.

An Ode to A Beautiful Woman

Pretty lady why did you
win me with your smile,
trap me with your eyes,
Catch me with your touch.
Tell me why did you
Cross my path with your charm,
Steal my heart with your care,
Turn my head with your manners.
Be honest, why did you
Melt me with your kindness
Leave me in awe with your goodness,
Grip me hard with your wisdom.
I don't know why, but am glad you did.

Lost on Earth

The Sky it opens up and beckons deeper-
The Earth, she opens up her thoughts to me-
The glory of the clouds to this truth seeker-
Once was, is, and will never be-

Another day of sunlight leads the way-
To guide me off a path already strayed-
The water forms the puddles as it rains-
The image of myself, molded from clay-

The roots take hold to roots take hold of roots-
Dance upon the hive, one with the bees-
Planted are my thoughts, my feet, like seeds-
A gentle breeze will bring me to my knees-

The Sky, it swallows shut as I awaken-
Leaving me behind, feeling forsaken-
My body and my mind are both untaken-
The trembling of the ground leaves me quite shaken-

A billow of smoke rises to meet the clouds-
Who take their time to dissipate-
I sit under the canopy of trees-
Silent with the birds, we watch and wait-

Flowers on the bloom, and fruit upon the vine-
Poison to the heart, such glory of the times-
Casting stones at ponds, who ripple their effects-
Slithering, the snake, will wrap around your necks-

Another omen met, another secret forgotten-
Another poem left, another beacon rotten-
The Sky it beckons up, and opens deeper-
The sea washes away all hope beneath her-

Fossilized footprints now cracked in two-
An open valley screams to ears, soundproof-
Conjuncture of the dust and germs that meet-
A sign you waited for, tossed at your feet-
Lost symbolism, holds no meaning-
Drooping willows dying in the spring-

Butterflies, now burnt by the Sun-
A caterpillar dying in the womb-
Days of ours numbered, done is done-
Losing life before completion of your tomb-
A broken light inside your living room-
Broken by the trees I must assume-

Ironic how the algae form the catalyst-
Something lost to all cannot be missed-
On this sacred place in which we kiss-
Beneath what was to be, this poison mist-

Blessed are the days lost to silence-
Blessed are the days removed from violence-
Ran away from Earth, your mighty highness-
Castration, equal to your shyness-

The pity of the grass so tread upon-
While the pity of the mass, they will show none-
The city of the sands in all its glory-
Is dead and gone only to leave its story-

The Sky it opens up and beckons deeper-
Lost meaning of the keys, to their keepers-
A tidal wave of truth will be ignored-
Facing backwards and walking forward-

Fossilized emotion-
Love potion-
Discarded notion-
Blatant fools-

Touching moment-
Sexual atonement-
Flopping blowfish-
Trapped in shallow pools-

My Moon has gone, has left me feeling-
Has left me feeling completely empty-
The stars they fade from this massive ceiling-
I ask for their forgiveness, non-repenting-

I wave to the ocean, who remains motionless-
No movement, I feel emotionless-
Hardened to the point, feeling alone-
This must be how we created the stones-

The Sky it beckons up and opens deeper-
Staring to a long and distant fear-
Miles of isolation conjures smiles-
Facing, pacing, awaiting, Egyptian death trials-

A heart, weightless-
A judge, faceless-
The way you guide your tongue is tasteless-
Hollow amazement-
To find you are fateless-
An anger that is hateless-

A planet that is farthest-
Occupied by whom are heartless-

Enrichment of the soil-
Plant your shiny coins into our dirt-
A snake sat perched and coiled-
Awaiting the day it is rebirthed-

Covered by the veil of all these branches-
The blinding light reflects the evening dew-
The bird emerges in song just as it hatches-
Passing of the seasons right on queue-

Another gust of wind flows through her hair-
The Sky it opens up and breathes in deeper-
Behind her creeps the day, though unaware-
That the ground she walks upon smiles beneath her-

The universe comes together just to stare-
To life itself, she is its sustenance-
Callisto turns her head, she does not care-
Burdened by the jealousy of her, hence-
Hence the reason know one knows her name-
No one utters out her final words, since-
Since IO has prevailed in vein-
Water surfaces to her face, where it all together fades before her lips-

The ground she walks upon faints beneath her feet-
Both blessing each other in this moment-
The echo of the silence, leave them be-
They are of sacred gifts, grand bestowments-

Soul and spirit mate without hesitation-
Their love unknown to us, unless they've shown it-
Soul and spirit change, twisting evaporation-
She is your goddess, even if you do not know it-
