…And the Horse You Rode in On (Part Dos)

Perhaps it was with the advent of social media,
And people started showing their vanity,
When all of the narcissism came out,
I started losing my faith in humanity.

When strangers behave worse than wild animals,
With anger and rage using all kind of profanity,
They have no respect for themselves or others,
I started losing my faith in humanity.

Or maybe it was when all the current racism,
Began to be so blatant it looked like insanity,
In their hatred, ignorance and indifference,
I started losing my faith in humanity.

But I think it’s with the current people in power,
Thinking they’re out right in their “Christianity”,
With the messed up policies they roll out,
I started to lose my faith in humanity.

There is so much pain and hatred in the world,
Idiots are out there with so much brutality,
To them I say:
 Fuck you and the horse you rode in on,
                            I’ve lost my faith in humanity.
