Activist Poetry: Speak out about crazy Article 13
Calling ALL poets!!!
This is a really big deal for all of us.
Make a poem that speaks out against the economic and cultural damage that we may face in the EU from article 13, and eventually other countries that try to harmonize with it. This is a major pain in the YouTube. And the instagram, etc.

"I look at this generation and feel shame.
Lord, how we lost ourselves to the internet.
In my day, children played outside and bought records.
Now my own grandchildren quote these YouTube thickheads.
It's Pewdiepie this, Jacksepticeye that, grown men with lewd commentary.
What kind of name is Pewdiepie anyway?
Undeniably a huge mockery.
These "creators" make a living doing nothing and somehow that's accepted.
They didn't even make this content themselves, am I the only one that's offended?
I've worked too hard to see my country go to shit.
When I took this job, I swore to make the world a better place, not a someplace to vomit.
That is why I am here today, to motivate you to vote YES on Article 13 and it's ban on copyrighted videos. I did my part, now it's your turn to be a hero."

Edible Words, thank you! It was our hopes of making this write both an animated and accessible read with at least 1 concrete example of "cultural damage." This was a challenge for outreach. Consequently, at first glace, it seems a bit lengthy and politically charged for a visual.

If someday ever comes
Will there be a place for me
Will there be someone waiting for me
And will I know how to find him
Will the Lord allow me another start
How will I know I belong
Or will we have to part
Will I have to search for the love that never comes
Was it only in fun
Why did he have to run
What is it that I did
I gave all I had to give
There is so much more to me

It is worth the find
There is days I wish someday never came
I know the Lord must have a plan for me
He is not just playing a game
