Shades of Blue
I always had a weakness for blue eyes
Gorgeous orbs far more precious than sapphires
This royal color exists everywhere in nature
It quickly became my favorite color.
Halcyon days soon blessed my soul
As I found my soul-mate to accompany me
Through storms and gentle winds, he is a constant presence
Looking up at the sky and I admire those shades of blue.
His golden hair that outshines the sun, and his gentle smile that warms my heart
Yet everything melts away once I stare in his azure eyes.
Just when life couldn’t get better, my soul came to life once more
As a Phoenix emerged from the flames before me
His stunning fiery hair illuminated the night
One look into his cyan eyes had me under a spell.
This crimson angel is proud and majestic
And swirling in his bright eyes are gorgeous shades of blue.
Walking along the beach, I met the last piece in my heart’s puzzle
A being as rare and precious as a Pearl
He had a rose in his hands, and a delicious smirk on his face
Yet all I saw were shades of blue.

Ocean Waves
When I am closing my eyes, all of the memories come rushing
Back like the turquoise ocean waves that are hitting or crashing
Against the rocky shoreline. We are running through them like
We are schoolchildren again with laughter that keeps gushing
Out like lava from a volcano, but it is that smile you are flashing
Me that I love. You came in strong like the ocean tide and strike
Of lightning. I want to capture it so it would not be gone forever
Among the sapphire and midnight blue sky. I want to tell you
That I am not afraid of the darkness and that I love the way your
Eyes reflect like the ice-capped mountains in winter I have never
Seen before. Can there be 50 shades of grey and 50 shades of blue?
Because I have seen the rainbow of colors, but blue is only pure.

Blue
My words burn like ice,
They emanate from a place so cold,
Engulfed by heated emotions of the worst kind,
They cut through fire ,freezing the burn of the hottest flame whose color is blue,
My favourite color in the spectrum of my being is blue,
Like the ocean,
On the surface I look peaceful,
Reflecting the beauty I wish was mine
But deep inside is a conflicted field filled with demons I keep concealed
So they don't see the light of day or let alone feel the surface breeze.
I am the fire in the ice,

my sadness in blue
shades of you wrap around me
melancholy vines
entering the sacred soul of my silence
in mute trust
we come in to one another
coalescing in the scripture of each other

i'll awaken you gently

Happy Blues
I like the blue
the colour of the sky
how I used to stare at it
as the clouds pass by
to disappear from
all of the despair
when I was feeling
there's no one to care
unintentionally
I fell in love with the blue
they said feeling blue is sad
but not in my point of view
the conversations
I had with the blue sky
how I promised myself
I would never hit my wife
clouds and winds painted
scenes to my pleasure
the image of a happy family
those memories I treasure
you know me from my
childhood through teenage years
you saw me smoking weed
