In the Grass
Your thirsty bones, insatiate sand.
All that is life glistens down
those spacious cheeks,
Spilling over blades of lash.
Your Auricle-fed, adventitiously perfect, root
is this 'every moment of life'.
And the light of your brightness shines.

A Glass Bottom Moon
Lying across the expanse of
rolling sea grass
turned to moonlight
that slips past the sun king while
happiness from yesterday's warmth
seeps into my spine
making me believe for a while
that all of me is whole again
as I once was.
To feel the sand churn
between fingers and toes
each time the tide comes in,
lying across the expanse of
rolling sea grass

Transmundane
I laugh, and dance throughout the atmosphere,
A spirit borne by light, and wind, and cloud!
I sing a song that men shall never hear,
performing for the universe, uncowed!
No form is fit to house the transmundane,
my essence is pure joy of life itself.
A fickle sprite, I'm innocently vain,
I fear no poverty, or covet wealth!
This game, called love, that earth-bound mortals play
seems such a waste of time and energy!
Their lives so short, then ending in decay,
a stunning contrast to my reverie!
This passing thought, of mankind’s misery,
dismissed without intentional disdain,
as, like the wind, I have no history
to give me pause, or memories of pain!

Laugh, smile and dance like there is no tomorrow.
It is in that moment, even in the fast pouring rain
That you truly forget about life and every sorrow.
Those tears that you thought would forever stain
Your soul have freed you from the burdens resting
On your shoulders. You are disentangled from pain
Lingering deep within your bones. You are testing
Your strength by walking away from situations that
Are not good and from people who are not investing
In your growth or adding to your happiness. Chitchat,
Noise and the horizon is what you strive to be above.
You deserve more than an empty promise and a flat
Line because you have much to offer with your love.
You always bring peace to this world like a flying dove.
It is in that moment, even in the fast pouring rain
